My claim has been farmed out there from Reno. I have searched the internet for anyone who has been processed through there only to come up empty. I guess the optimistic way to look at it is, that since it appears mine is the only claim in that RO, it should go pretty fast. (yep, I believe in fairy tales) ;) Seriously though, anyone know anyone who has/had a claim in Ft Harrison??

They say they have everything needed even though e-benefits says different. They verified that I'm still married with the Authorization Review(I think that's what that is) and have sent notification but I have not received anything. I know Reno is among the slowest RO's but for a simple re-evaluation I can't help but get so frustrated. I have a new claim to file with all paperwork ready (started on e-ben but not sent) don't want to send until this review is resolved. harleyman & T8r, Thank-you for showing up! I survived the 95 shutdown (non-essential, forced to work anyways). It was HELL on morale! Q?: Saw my medicine man today(VA Psychiatrist) and he thinks that if I give a copy to my VA psychologist it will be entered into my file, although he is not positive. Do you think that would work? *situation: going thru a comp review* initiated by VA, with support from family and mental health of VA team will file for PTSD/MST. Don't want to prolong review by completing claim now but getting ducks in a row. Nevada Veterans Service Office has POA but they kinda suck...have never returned a call or e-mail and I'm a shut-in(lucky for them) Have completed PTSD/MST Q's on ebennies except for uploading NCIS report and release of mental health notes(do I need to do this and if so which # form?) Never thought I would get it so I was shocked when a BBE from NCIS arrived. All statements and interviews were there. File is 22yrs old.

Anyone have any experience in getting a criminal investigation report filing an FOIA?

While watching the hearings I saw Congressman Amodei question Hickey as to why Reno RO is the only RO that has DECREASED it's staff and budget. No answer was given due to the 5minute time restraint. grrrrrrr..... Hickey is supposed to visit Reno RO next month.

Do the VA Raters only go by the C&P exam notes or do they read all the notes/info from myhealthevet also?
