I decided to wait for the decision on my C&P exams. There is no since (in my tiny mind) to give up 20% when I have not been denied anything yet. Things seem to be going my way and I don't think I need an extra layer of paper at this time. Must remain patient and vigilant. Anyone agree with that? If not, Why not?

I made inital contact with Woods and Woods and explained my situation briefly. They will be contacting me when they can. What is the average fee for these cases? Will they work on it for part of the Compensation I may get? Does it speed up or slow down the process? I just want to have my ducks in a row if possible when we speak.

I spoke with the VA yesterday..Marshall said that it depends how long the QTC holds them. They double check everything before they send them. Then the VA may take 30-45 days after that. Not promising news but, The VA always gives themselves WAAAY too much time to act. This way they are 'ON SCHEDULE'.

Yeah, I kind of thought if they could get a taste of our problems then we have the best chance of being heard. I say 'FLOOD THEM' with complaints!

I went to the Clinic and filed a FOIA and the clerk said it takes about a week to get them. She said they process these pretty quickly. We shall see?

That means the file is sitting in the wrong pile. Someone looks and says ' oh, can't do anything on that one it is waiting for the Veteran to act'.

I do not hide from friends and family..maybe I am being too trusting but, isn't that part of what is wrong today.

Just checked ebennies and it states 'Evidence Requested is overDue'. My Congressman's office mailed it ALL in on Jan 28, 2013. Below is the confirmation email sent to me from Doc Hastings Office. How long is the usual wait for these C&P reports? Where can I find them? On Ebennies? On myheathyvet?

Thanks everyone..I met with him yesterday and he tried to be a Psy on me. Telling me it is no big deal and making me feel foolish about my concerns. I told him the Training is NOT in my Job Discription. He says , 'yes it is, we put it in there'. I reminded him he could not Change my Job Discription at will. It has to got through the Union and be approved. He asked me for a copy of my Job Discription...That shows how much he cares, he doesn't even know what I do. He wants to meet each Monday Morning to 'talk' and you can probably guess how that will go. My Union Rep is unreliable as She is on the Companies side. She wants a promotion and move upwards. I am kinda stuck.

Just seperate them in your mind and try to concentrate on each as an individual. Focus on the particular exam and try to remember all the details. Part of my problem was walking out and then saying I should have said....

Currently 10% for sinusitis. Had all C&P's last week for upgrade of sinusitis, NEW for hearing loss, tinitus and PTSD. All went very well. Hearing Doc said my 'SUBSTANTIAL hearing loss' was caused by the chronic sinusitis that I am Service Connected for already. He said he was writing the report that way. PTSD Doc said I hit ALL the targets for PTSD and I should not worry. As soon as I can access the reports I will post them here. Is there a maximum or standard for Sinusitis? I know Tinitus is 10%.

It is back up now with no change in status. Hard to ignore Ebennies when it is the only game in town. Too bad the Site access function only shows MY access and not when they access it! Not a useful tool for any Veteran.

Unable to access my 'Compensation' file this AM. Does that maybe mean thaey are working in my file? Everything else is working.

During the C&P the examiner asked me about harming others. I started thinking about those I had killed or wounded and started crying. I told her I did not want to ever hurt anyone again. It took a little doing to calm down and get the subject changed. I don't know if I shot myself in the foot or not? I am NOT going to lie about this stuff for anyone or anything!

Yes I am a Fed employee and yes I am in a UNION too. I have alot of options but, I don't want to pull the trigger too soon. as soon as I have my new rating I will go forward asking for Accomodations for my disabilities.

my current 10% rating is for Sinusitis and has been since 1979. The VA denied my Hearing loss in 1979. The VA wants evidence of a SC change for Hearing loss and the Audiologist states that the Hearing loss I NOW have is 'consistant with chronic sinusitis'. This should do as he says I have 'substantial Hearing Loss'. During this C&P I was checked for tinitus. and the Audiologist said that is no problem, I will get that. The adiologist said he would write in his report that my Hearing loss is due to my Service connected Sinusitus. He recommended hearing aids as well. The PTSD C&P was last Thursday and the examiner said I hit ALL the targets for PTSD. All together I applied for an Increase in Sinusitis, new claims for PTSD, Hearing Loss and tinitus. All the C&P's went very well indeed. I am just waiting for the official reports to be posted to start to guesstimate where I am going to be rated.

I am hanging in there for now. I think I need to wait to find out my new rating before going after 'reasonable accomodation'. I am a Facilities Maintenance worker for the DOE with a Power Co.. The Company is currently under investigation for not hiring Veterans so I think I am pretty safe for now. I don't think any level of management wants more fuel on THAT fire. I call it my ACE in the hole, for the long run. I have documentation of harrasment back to 2007 wwhen I was hired to back myself up.

Each of the QTC examiners said the reports would be filed THAT day. I asked the examiner for a copy and was told it is done by a protected form and once submitted, it's gone. Now I have to wait for Ebennies to post them so I can share them with you all. Dunno the approx timeline for that, does anyone here?

Good luck my friend! I am at the mercy of the 'Raters' now. Just try to remeber everything and state ALL the problems you have relative to your Case. Don't let them tell you what you say is not important so they dismiss it out of hand. As hard as it is to be assertive, I did it and you should too. Don't just 'take what you can get' but get what you deserve dammit.
