  1. Been away a while, thank you very much for answering my question.
  2. Please help. I am a frequent reader of this site and seldom post. Thanks for your service and the wealth of information on this site. Does it matter if a nexus letter is obtained from a retired doctor who is a friend. Person would give their medical opinion/ facts regarding some of these diseases being secondary to one another PTSD, hypertension, sleep apnea, kidney cancer and prostate cancer. Thanks.

  10. Thanks for your response. Your response is not clear. Need to understand in dollars and cents. Currently rated 100% PDSD, receiving 3000 monthly. If he receives another 100% rating what will monthly payment be? Again 1 dependent. Thanks
  11. NavyWife, Thanks for the response. I will move as suggested. Your response is not clear. Does it mean that it will be $3000 times 2 for both 100% ratings or just 1 $3000 monthly total for both. Thanks
  12. Thanks for your assistance. My husband is currently rated 100% PTSD. He is a Vietnam Vet-Agent Orange exposed and was treated for prostate cancer via radiation Sept 2013. What will his monthly temporary rate be with 1 dependent. His C & P Exam is scheduled for 8/11/14 at a QTC medical site. Thanks
  13. Congrats on win. Now I have a question. My husband is currently 100% PTSD. He is Vietnam Vet AO exposure. He was diagnoised with and treated for prostate cancer. What will his full temporary monthly payment be until he gets a permanent rating for PC?
  14. Thanks. I will do. Right now I have several people promising to help me.
  15. Thanks for your response. I am waiting on the envelope with results. How do I PM you? Thanks
  16. All I need help. On May 8, 2014 my husband was rated 100% PTSD. I am waiting on the BBE. It was effective same day no retro pay. We will appeal. Your thoughts? He is also a Vietnam Vet I filed an informal claim. Just sent in a typed letter identifying prostate cancer where records can be found, docs name and claim #. That occurred 3/13. I received word through DAV that they sent her a letter of acknowledgement but did not send us anything. One year will be up 5/28/14. I do not want to lose any retro. At the time we were represented by Vietnam Veterans of America for PTSD appeal. I did not know we could not have two POAs. Question: do I need to complete a FDCF? Also he had a kidney removed- how should I handle that? The lady with VVA is very nice but not helpful. She told me to complete form 21-526, but I do not have a good feeling. Please help. God Bless and thanks for your service.
  17. Thanks so much and congrats to you. God Bless you and your family
  18. Congrats to you. Please tell me how you were able to contact the RO. I need the direct number to Roanoke,VA RO. Thanks
  19. Thank you so kindly. I am on my lunch break and will reply fully later on this evening. His rating is for PTSD. The appeal is for an increase. These new issues were just dignoised within the last 12-14 months. He has not filed an AO claim. I still need to know about the AO exam. Should he have one or no t? What are the benefits? A formal letter from me was sent to the VA regarding his prostate cancer announcing location of doctor, illness and medical records. We did not do a full claim. I just spoke to the VVA, no movement on appeal with AMC. Attorney did see where the formal letter was received in May 2013. Thanks.
