    Dic Form

    Can someone post the Dic form that has to be filled out for DIC? I saw one that had how much money and assets you have. I am 100% T&P. My spouse as many of you have read in my posts had a incapacitating stroke 10 years ago and can not make any decision on anything. I have a death folder for my children with instructions, and would like to add the correct form for DIC. Do I have to fill out a means form. Thanks flr the help. Red

    I am a 100% P&T for the last 14 years, I am 75 years old, have a wife that had a incapacitating stroke 10 years ago.. She draws $145.00 A&A. My question for the board is what form do I fill out, do I have to show my net worth. My kids are past 50 years old. I need to make it clear for them to fill out the dic form as quick as possible. It is a little confusing like much of Tthe va forms are. Would the board please clarify what needs to be done if I pass away to make it easy for my kids. No way my spouse could do it due to not being able to think or write clearly. I am not in any hurry to go,Lol. THANKS, RED

    Hello, I hope someone can answer this and also I am on the correct page. If not I am sorry. As many of you know my wife had a incapacitating stroke 10 years ago. She continues to worsen to my heartfelt regret. I need to make some type of trust so that if I pass first she will be taken care of and the state or feds will not be able to seize our assets. I have a will but that is all. Could someone give me some advice on this.? Also, will a military lawyer do this for a 100% P&T VET which I have been for 14 years. I am 75 now and you do not want to think about it but my friends are passing away by the numbers. Thanks for any help. RED

    How long have you been rated for sleep apnea. The way I understand it after ten years they will not take the rating away usually, bur can up to twenty years. Is this what the board understands? I am 75, was rated for sleep apnea in 2001. Could not make it without the compensation. Good luck Sgt.

    Sir, The FY 2013 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) allows Secretary of Defense authority to re-establish a space-available travel program; prescribe regulations; and provide transportation to "other categories of individuals as the Secretary considers appropriate". Currently it is still under review with results due to Secretary of Defense for his consideration by late September. Once he makes the decision, if any changes are made, Department of Defense will publish those changes.     That was written maybe 8 years ago by a friend of mine. It does not mean a thing. Someone has to talk to their senator or congress person to find out the new regulation. I can not get a hold of mine. If someone can do that we may come up with an answer. Thanks.

    I can not find any proof that it was approved. If anyone is good at looking at bills from the house and the senate I wish they would find it , copy it and post it here. Thanks for the help.

    I did not want to know nortorious Kelly message off but I did not know where else to post this. My question is has anyone found out anything about the president signing into law space a flying for 100% P&T? If anyone has any news or where I could go to find out where we stand, Please let me know. Thanks

    I can not for the life of me find anything that shows the president has signed the bill which will authorize 100% t&p disabled veterans to fly space a. I have read on this board where it is a done deal. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN FIND THE BILL AND POST IT ON HERE. IT WOULD EASE A LOT O MINES. THANKS

    I would appreciate hearing from anyone that is using either Delta Dental or Met LIfe for your spouse. I received a card in the mail and looked at both of them but still would like to get advice from this board on which one they use and the service they give, plus the cost. Also, it it even the right thing to do using either one of them. Thanks

    Can it be taken away from you if if you were awarded sleep apnea 14 years ago and was along with other issues 100% t&p. Also I am 74 years old. THANKS!

    Does anyone know when the Dental program for the spouse of a 100% disabled vet will start and what will it consist of ? I hope I am on the right place to post this and I did not cut someone else off. Thanks and Happy new year.

    My wife is on Champva. I am 100% t&p. I would have to help her into the tub. I just think a good relaxing bath, jut soaking would do her a lot of good. Now she has to have a shower setting on a chairl.. Thanks for all your help. I will go by a bath business and look at some of them.

    my poor wife has fallen again and broke her pelvis in two places. She is now in a nursing home rehab and has been for a month. This makes ten broken bones and numerous operations. I would like to get her a walk in tub so I can walk in, set her down and soak and relax. Does anyone know if champva would pay for this. I called the champva rep and he did not know if they would pay or not. He said that I would have to get a code from the Doc. Thanks and any info would be appreciated. Red

    Can anyone tell me if they recevie Xarelto from the va. I can not get it and my inr level is never correct. Also, I can not eat so many foods. I have to send my level into my blood doc every week. I had pulmonary emboism and the level must be the right level which lately it is bouncing around. Please let me know if any one know if you can get that. So far I can not. Thanks

    I take it, just started a couple of weeks ago, I could not sleep at all. Now with Trazodone along with a new depression pill, I sleep great. Had a couple of dreams but no night mares , so far so good.

    The AOL dialer is nothing but chaning the way you use the aol service. Next time Berta, and I hope you have not next time, call aol and they wil walk you thru it.

    The way I have understood it is that it has to be tied into something that happended to you while you were in the service. Such as a nose injury. But it has to be documented. It is tough to get it unless you can do this. Good Luck.

    Thanks Pete, We have had a tough time around here. My wife had another stroke while we were at Ft. Sam Houston in our motor home. Was in the hospital there for a week then back home, another week in the hospital... I hope you are doing well. WHAT IS AN S RATINGI. I am 100% t&p. I am seeing a hematologist outside the va and I am not sure my va doc appreciates it. I was intensive care for a week. Feel pretty good now but am not sleeping at night. 3 nights straight without sleep. Anyway, thank you, as usual, for your help. I will let my hematologist know this as soon as i find out from you what the s means. Take care my friend.
