Yes I am at 20% . 10 for TBI and 10 for back. I was active duty 03-06 and reservist 07-14. I was meb / peb for back and PTSD. So I am on PDRL (permanent disability retirement list) since 23May14 at 60% Have not received any retirement pay yet nor have I applied for CRSc. All my injury's are combat related. VSO told v me on 4June a decision was made at 50% for PTSd with effective date of April09. Said she reviewed it and sent it back. As of yesterday no letter has been sent to me. I called the hotline. No retro setup yet. No change in ebennys. So I am hoping to at least get a letter soon. I have the direct number to my rater which is a coach. Not going to bother her though. Gonna wait couple more days before I call her. As I get closer I get more anxious!! It's nerve wrecking!

Thanks for the info. I mean its been 5 years since I started this claim. You would think they would take that into consideration when paying out the retro. I hope the AMC does the processing of the award. Because they are way quicker than Chicago RO.

A decision was made on 4JUNE for my PTSD at the AMC. I have nothing in ebenefits that even pertains to it. Who will process my payment of retro? Will the AMC do it or will it be sent back to Chicago for processing?

Yeah I already took care of that. They did a new rating. Got lucky when I called office of case mgmt. and they realized they made mistake on 30%. So now I am getting 50% but I have nothing on ebenefits that even pertains to my claim at the AMC. It doesent even show up on there. So that decision was made on 4 of JUne. How long before I get back pay?

My VSO said AMC made a decision . Peggy says file going back to my RO. My VSO reviewed decision and signed off. Who will process my retro? My RO or AMC? How long does it take?

April 14- grant for service connection from BVA for PTSD May 5 - VSO says 30% award backdate to 09 at the AMC May 22 - status is pending concur Does anyone know what this means?

It was not remand. BVA granted service connection and to expedite my claim they had the AMC rate it instead of RO. My VSO said it's not finalized but she could see 30%. My file and temp files have been coast to coast with the PEB and stuff. I believe the AMC did not review the finding of PEB and or either the c and p exam from last year. It's clear in my exam I meet standards for 50% at least. Yes I do use ebennys but no update on AB8 letter yet. I will message you the letter when I receive it. Thanks much for your help.

So I am retiring from ARMY with a disability of 50% (PTSD)... which the VA came up with. At the same time I had an appeal for PTSD with the BVA. They granted it and sent it to AMC(AMC rated it). I talked to my VSO and she can see rating of 30% for PTSD. How the hell are they going to give me 30% for PTSD when they already gave me 50% for military disability evaluation. What should I do when I get notice? Shout I do a reconsideration or maybe a CUE? It is clear that they made an error and did not review all the evidence. Now I am gonna have to wait forever again to get what is owed to me.... at least 50% .

My claim is pending authorization. About 2 weeks after BVA grant. Hopefully soon!

I was granted service connection by BVA last month. My claim was sent to AMC for rating. Called hotline and they said decision made on May1, 2014. It just has to be reviewed. How long does this take?

How long does it take for the AMC to rate a BVA grant of service connection. My VSO<IRIS inquiry<BVA all told me my claim is ready to rate at the AMC. No clue y my RO is not doing it.
