Hi Berta. All my payments got direct deposit. So that usually happens pretty fast. That's why I'm a lil worried. My claim closed on the 25th of last month.

Hi family, So on April 20 I received my decision packet stating I went from 50% to a 100% (blessed) effective date is Oct 1 2013. Schedule affective date April 1 for 100%. It says it can take 2 weeks for retro pay but I still haven't seen anything. 2 days later I received a letter stating I need to fill out a form stating how many drill days I had in fiscal year 2012. I spent 2 years in the guard after 8 years active duty. The thing is I wasn't receiving and drill pay then. I was out of the guard. I called the 800# and nobody there can give me a straight answer if this is what's holding my retro. I called the debt center and they say I don't owe any debt at all. Can somebody please help me out or point me in the right direction. My DAV rep is useless! Thanks guys! Ryder OIF, OEF vet!

Hey boomer. No I'm not retired and my claim was complete in 8 months. I did 10 years total. I called the debt management number and they said I don't owe any debt so I'm just confused as to why I haven't received my retro pay. And it's set up for direct deposit so I'm not waiting on the snail mail Sorry boomer I thought that was to me. My bad

I just recently got my 100% on April 20th 2014 and I haven't received my retro pay as well. At the same time that I received my packet explaining my increase from 50 to a 100% I also got a letter stating i needed to turn in this form stating how many drill days I had for the fiscal year of 2012. My last 2 years of service I did in the guard. But I wasn't getting any drill pay during this time. Can this be why I haven't received my retro pay? Can somebody please help. I can't get a straight answer from the 1800#. I just had a baby and times are tough right now. Thank you!

Hey everyone, I could use some help. I was recently increased to a 100% April 20th. The letter is stating it took effect on jul of 2013. On the same day as my decision packet I received another letter stating I need to fill out a 21-8951-2 stating I need to report my drill days for fiscal year 2012. My last 2 years in the army was with the guard. But I wasn't drilling in 2012. Will I not receive my retro pay until this is resolved? I call the 1800 number but they don't tell me anything. They don't even know the answer. Can somebody please help me out!
