  1. Thank you, I just hope they don't use the contradiction to lowland or deny benefits, as you know that's what these raters do. Try to find anyway to deny. Thank you for your input, I should be getting my decision any day now and I will update my posts.
  2. Besides an IMO, how much weight would a couple letters from family and friends explaining my symptoms carry, also where would I find doctors to write IMO s for me, where would I look, what kind of doctor, I know I'll probably have to pay and that's fine. Thank you. I don't know if my primary would write a letter but I could ask.
  3. Kevin, I was denied ssdi, even though my doctor said I can't work they said I could, I even went through appeals and was denied again, it's unbelievable to me how easy it is to get ssdi for depression, which is what I should have done, but a physical back problem is almost impossible. Kevin thank you for sharing your trials. Hope you get iu this time around.
  4. Thank you sir, yes that's great advice, I will get my nod in order as we'll. I've just never had a c and p examiner straight up lie like this one, he also made my knee look like there was no problem, and my gerds he made look like it was from acidic food, he totally screwed me. But it is what it is, I guess I'll just have to wait.
  5. Dr Razooki out of the San Diego va office screwed me, first off I couldn't make my first c and p with him because I was having a baby at the hospital which happened on the weekend and my appt was on Monday morning, so I couldn't even cancel the appt till day of. Anyways I met with him later that week. basically I was being evaluated for my knee, which the range of motion is next to none and it buckles outward every time I put weight on it, we'll I picked up the exam from ROI and he made my knee look like a hs football stars knee, that's number one, I also filed for gerds, we'll again he made it look like I only get it when I eat acidic foods, when I have to sleep with my head elevated and I get nautious when I get them. So he screwed me there as we'll, here is the one that really pisses me off, I put in for migraines as well, I told him that they are prostrating and severe and I even told him to write this down because he was just sitting there not listening, we'll I think that's why he must of screwed me, he also said that my migraines were not prostrating in his report. So has anyone ever had a c and p exam where the doc straight screws you in the but like this. All my injuries are documented in my records and I get treatment and medication for them, so it's not like I'm faking it. I had a neuro c and p a week later and he actually wrote that my migraines are completely and frequently prostrating and severe, He even linked to my stressor with an as least as likely as not statement. I just hope that the rater takes the neuros word over dr razookis lies. Any thoughts how the rater might take this, thank you for allowing me to vent.
  6. I put in a claim for migraines, my first c and p was with the neurologist, and he wrote down everything I stated, he put down the criteria that meets the 50 percent rating for migraines ( completely prostrating ). He even linked them to my stressor with an at least as likely as not statement. But I had another c and p with an ignoramus doctor who wrote my migraines were severe but not prostrating, he screwed me and wrote everything opposite of what I told him. I have been treated at the va for my migraines and I have a lot medication for them in my va records, my question is are they going to take the neurologists recommendation which states the 50 percent rating criteria, or the other c and p opinion that said I don't have prostrating migraines. And should I file a nod if low balled or denied, Thank you everyone for chiming in.
  7. I'm 40 percent for my back 30 percent for my neck 20 percent for my right upper extremity and 10 percent for my left leg. I filed for IU a year and a half ago. I had a letter from my previous employer stating how severe my back problems were and how he seen me on the ground several times unable to move in pain. He also stated that I was unable to work for him because of my back problems, and I missed to much work because I was bed ridden because of my back condition. My chiropractor also submitted a letter stating that my back problems are so severe that I cant obtain gainful employment. So those are the big pieces of evidence in my favor. However I went to the c_n p exam, and the examiner stated that my back and neck do effect my work however I should be able to have gainful enployment. So my question is do you think they will find in my favor for iu, or the c_m_p examiners favor for denial. If I'm denied should I file a n o d thank you.
  8. I'm 40% for back, 30% for neck, 20% for right arm and 10% for left leg. I applied for iu, I have submitted a letter from previous employer stating he let me go because of my back problems, he really put together a great letter for me. Also my chiropractor wrote a letter saying I can't work due to the extent of my back and neck problems. Here is the oh crap moment, c and p doctor said my back effects work however I can do sedimentary work, he obviously didn't write about my limited ROM or my inability to use my dominant arm, not to mention how I can't sit or stand for more than 30 minutes, I am only semi comfortable in bed, my wife even went into the exam with me, she has to dress me and drive me everywhere. So, what do you guys think. I'm in notice of decision phase, does it look bleed or is there a chance I get iu. Also should I file nod if denied. Thankyou so much for your thoughts.
  9. Hi Berta, thank you for the response, I'm 40 for back 30 for neck 20 right upper extremity and 10 left lower extremity. I filed a claim for ptsd tbi migraines and iu for my back and neck condition. I had a c and p for all these and they all have at least as likely than not which is great. My only concern is the ptsd issue I mentioned in my first post. Unrelated to my post for my iu claim I have a doctors opinion stating that I'm unable to work and years of outside treatment documents, even a letter from my former employer stating that I can't do my job because of my back problems, I probably won't get iu for this because I got a copy of the c and p report for iu and the doc said I could do sedentary work which is a crock, so I don't have high hopes on iu. Anyways my depression started after the stressor. But because I didn't put in a claim for it they didn't give me a c and p for it. But in the ptsd diagnosis the psychiatrist documented it a lot so I'm sure I'll get one mental health rating. One more concern I have is for my migraines claim, my first c and p was with the neurologist, and he wrote down everything I stated, he put down the criteria that meets the 50 percent rating for migraines ( completely prostrating ). He even linked the tbi to my migraines, with an at least as likely statement. But I had another c and p with an ignoramus doctor who wrote my migraines were not prostrating, he screwed me and wrote everything opposite of what I told him. I am being treated at the va for my migraines and I have a lot medication for them in my va records, my question is are they going to take the neurologists recommendation which states the 50 percent criteria or the other c and p opinion that said I don't have prostrating migraines. Thank you everyone for chiming in.
  10. so I've searched these forums. And I have not found any forums relating to this topic. I recently went for a comp and pen exam after filing a claim for PTSD. I have the stressor and nexus easy, but my concern is that I haven't gone to any ptsd counseling at the VA. The VA psychologist at the c and p said that I have PTSD which meets criteria under dsm4 and dsm5. So I have the copy of her exam from Roi. I haven't been to any PTSD treatment through the VA. Will her report be enough to get me a percentage. I also have a history of depression, which is a symptom of ptsd. and it is well stated in my PTSD diagnosis exam from the psychiatrist. I have a history of medication that I've been taking for the depression and I would like to know if I will get approved for PTSD or depression. I can supply more info once the forum gets rolling, thankyou
