See this is why I am going to stop offering my take on things.

Because why would a person tell a veteran not to document things and file there complaint

Because where did anyone stated the white house hotline was going to change anything.

I don't think it will get a veteran notice by calling the white house hotline.

I think there would be a complaint document in the system with all the other complaints about these private contractor exams. An maybe once they see all these complaints address it.

As I stated upload a statement tell the VA you are not traveling a 100 miles for a comp exam. It will become part of your record.

So if you call lhi like I did and they send it back to va stating you refuse a exam.

But never stated they offer a exam  100 miles away.

It is all documented. An the VA will fix it real quick

Or you can call and see if they have something closer and hope they do the right thing.

    Without document anything your choose.smh

FYI. The White House Hot Line is ran by the VA. I have seen action on very serious issues that have occurred. A C and P exam scheduled at the request of the RO to a Contractor Although it may be an inconvenience to a veteran, it may be the only available examiner available. Personally I have had great success with LHI, QTC and VES since 2020.  And every time you call the hotline, they inquire at your Regional Office. There is a person at that RO who's job it is to get the message. Like I said, You will get noticed. Good Luck and hang in there.

  2. You do need a local attorney to help. You can get one that specializes in VA Claims, Personally I will recommend Katrina Eagle (Attorney) and Jim Radogna (Accredited appeals agent). They are a husband and wife team and are very knowledgeable. They are based out in San Diego.  Both are NOVA members and often travel around the country to train Attorneys and Agents.

I have recently been raised up to 100% P & T for VA disability.

How do I find out about applying for Social Security?

Is there any source where I can learn about it, from being in my situation?

I don't know ANYTHING about it.  Please help!

A friend of the show is names Lisa Hiering. She is a retired SSA employee from claims. Here is her website. She will steer you straight,

  4. I have had a few Stress Test's done. These tests are done in a setting that has the facilities to do it. This test involved an injection of a Radioactive Isotope, being scanned by a scanner, getting on a treadmill or injected with Atropine to rev up the heart, then getting scanned again.

There is also a test called a Stress Echo where they rev up the heart and do a Ultrasound in rapid fashion.

Been winning most appeals for a while now without help with representation.

If it isn't broken...I won't be "fixing" it.

If I need to appeal to the CAVC...I may go it alone this time.

I don't like that my attorney took the initiative to approve the Record Before Agency without forwarding me a copy for review beforehand.

Especially since I discovered some favorable evidence was not included when my attorney approved the RBA.

Now that the Rule 33 conference is available to pro se appellants after the CAVC revised the rule, I may go it alone if there is a next time.

    Good Luck with that endeavor.

I have been told repeatedly by VA employees that there is no decision letter.

This is occurring after I've advised VA employees of the date of decision and that VA.gov states a decision letter has been mailed to me.

By telling me this, the VA can continue to delay my ability to file an appeal, should I choose to do so.

More than once VA.gov has been wrong. Do you have a VSO?

  7. VA has Priority groups.

    10 to 20 percent

    30 to 40 percent

    50 percent and above

    https://www.va.gov/health-care/eligibility/priority-groups/

The biggest benefit is when a Veteran becomes permanent and Total, That kicks in the 10K life insurance and a Waiver of Premium, Chapter 35 education benefits for the spouse and Kids, Military ID card (Veteran and family ) with MWR and Commissary access, Access to Space A travel provided the veteran is not too sick to fly.

If anyone has questions about veterans filing for Social Security disability, a good resource is Lisa Hiering.  She works with veterans who want to file SSDI.  https://www.ssdiinsidersecrets.com/

I have filed a direct review w/ law judge from an appeal of 1/22. For what should have been an easy claim/increase it is now being dragged out. As of last week my vso filed a priority processing form/hardship. If the normal timeline for these is 365days,  my question is, what is the average time completed or peoples experience with priority processing at bva level? Thanks

I have been waiting since September 2020.

I’m talking about if I die from something that is not service related. For example I’m 100% for PTSD but I die in a car accident. How long do I have to be T&P until family would qualify for DIC. Also, if I die either before or after 10 years do my kids still get DEA? (College assistance)   Thanks

10 years. As long as you are P and T your dependents will receive Chapter 35 education benefits. A wise Idea would be invest ion a High Dollar AD&D policy. It is cheap.
