  1. The VA just determined the following conditions are related to my military service, so connection has been granted:

Degenerative joint disease cervical spine, assigned 10%.

Degenerative joint disease, lumbar spine, assigned 10%.

    Osteoarthritis, Left Shoulder, assigned 10%.

    Osteoarthritis, Right Shoulder, assigned 10%.

    Osteoarthritis, Left Hip, assigned 10%.

    Osteoarthritis, Right Hip, assigned 10%.

    Osteoarthritis, Left Wrist, assigned 10%.

    Osteoarthritis, Right Wrist, assigned 10%.

    Osteoarthritis, Left knee, assigned 10%.

    Osteoarthritis, Right knee, assigned 10%.

    TOTAL 10%

Can this possibly be correct? I am crippled, and have continuous pain, even lying down. I cannot stand, walk or take stairs. The VA knows all this.

My hunch is they are waiting on attrition!

Someone please explain this decision to me or advise.

    Thank You.

  2. THE ISSUES

"I would like to submit a formal claim for increase in compensation for my service connected disability .

    1. Entitlement to a disability evaluation in excess of 20 percent for the right shoulder separation with impingement and degenerative joint disease (dominate).

2.Entitelment to service connection for bilateral degenerative join disease and pain due

to over use of the left shoulder (minor). Claimed as secondary to service connected

right shoulder separation with impingement and degenerative joint disease (dominate).

    3. Entitlement to service connection for right hand weakness and pain (dominate) secondary to right shoulder separation with impingement and degenerative joint disease (dominate).

    4. Entitlement to service connection for right arm pain (dominate) secondary to right shoulder separation with impingement and degenerative joint disease (dominate).

    5. Entitlement to service connection for an acquired psychiatric disorder manifested by recurrent major depression and pain syndrome, secondary to service-connected disability.

    6. Entitlement to service connection for erectile dysfunction, to include as secondary to service- connected disabilities.

7.Entitlement to service connection for stomach problems and acid reflux, claimed as secondary to medication for pain caused by service-connected disabilities.

8.Entitlement to service connection a chronic skin disorder claimed as secondary to medication for pain caused by service connected disabilities.

9.Entitlement to service connection for sinus condition claimed as secondary to medication for pain caused by service connected disabilities.

10.Entitlement to service connection for hearring loss and tinitis.

I was scheduled for c&p for ortho but nothing else.what must i do to get them to schedule appointments for the rest.

  3. Well,I recieved an additional 20%, this time for my left shoulder.

This claim was assocoated with my PTSD Claim. Will Not change my % as I an already getting 70% PTSD-10% Tinnitis-10% Athletic feet- now 20% for lefft Shoulder. !!

The one I have been waiting for more then 24 months,ED and EED -they are being (A--holes)about NOT REVIEWING these for over 2 years.

But hell,I plan to be around,to Keep on sending in More Claims, until they Consider EACH an Every One of Them,

NOW YOU MUST APPLY FOR BILATERAL RIGHT SHOULDER CONDITION "PAIN AND ARTRITIS" FROM OVER USE.

  4. I am currently service connected for my right shoulder (pain limitation of motion). I have a claim in for my left shoulder because of pain and limitation of motion. In my records, a disability exists and the levels of severity are shown. I also have a statement from my PCP stating that my left shoulder disability is more than likely the result of repetative overuse due to overcompensation for my right shoulder disability (he also includes measurements for ROM). Is this statement along with VA progress notes enough to win the claim? Also, I am being treated for depression and am claiming this secondary to my right shoulder disability. I have a GAF of 50 and progress notes saying that the depression is related to pain from my service connected shoulder. Is this claim winnable?

  6. I just got a call from the american legion...DDD of the lumbar spine 20%IBS 10%fracture toe 0%scar 0%20 months of retro at 30% w/spouse and 2 children. Before Dr. Bash's IMO they wouldn't give me the time of day. After I asked for a reconsideration my claim was in the rating board for 30 days but with the rater for only 1 day. Berta was right, evidence wins claims. They rated everything off of Dr. Bash's measurements, I never had a C&P exam. Thanks Berta and all here at Hadit.
How do I contact Dr. Bash

  9. I was rate by the VA 40%. 30% for my MS and 10% for nere damage in my foot and 10% for my knee. now please explain the VAs math 30+10+10= 50 not 40. Anyway it took me 7 years any plenty of hospital stays to getting re-evaluate and receiving a rating of 70%. but once again with VA math not real math. This is what I mean I already had 40% and then I received 30% for Migraine cuased by chronic steroid use,10% for Neuropathy right upper extremity,10%right lower extremity, and 10% for GERD seondary to chronic steroid use. How does this equal 70% CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS!!!!!!!
