  1. Hello all, here is my sitrep; I was awarded a 60% disab. rating in Feb of this year (2014) the check with 2 year retro payment was sent to a bad address (my fault I know) . I updated my address and direct deposit information on April 2, through e-benefits and the 800-827 #. I was told this could take up to six weeks to process and re-issue the payment. Here it is, almost August, and I haven't recieved anything. I've made numerous calls to the 800 number, with a different response every time. I've sent inquries and complaints through IRIS...the anwser that I keep getting is this; "at this time the regional office is unable to determine a time frame of completion for this type of claim" which says it is an eligibilty determination...I am a homeless vet that did 3 combat tours in Iraq/Afghanistan as a CCT and TACP member, I am looking forward to this money to get my ass back on track and stop couch surfing, its very frustrating that there is no accountability and one hand doesnt seem to know what the other is doing....my RO is Oakland and I understand they are swamped, but I would just like to know if there is something else I should pursue or another angle to take on this is...or even a time frame would be nice....thank you for your help in advance
