Thanks for the replies, this is some helpful information in a really stressful time for her!

My wife already sent in connection of her disability in her initial release of medical records and she neglected to bring them during her exam due to our own error(early appointment and long drive). The examiner told her she needed proof by close of business today which is impossible because we live so far away. Should we just upload the documents to ebenfits right away or wait until they deny her or what? We have the documents but by the time we get to the VA they will be closed even though we have the connection documents which they should have had to begin with since we already sent them in. Any help would be appreciated.

The surgery was to repair her diastasis recti and it was performed outside of service. She was diagnosed in service with diastasis recti and has had numerous appointments with doctors post service diagnosing diastasis recti as well. She filed for this disability outside of a year of service (this is her first time claiming anything) but has the medical documents to show it is a continuous issue, especially because the surgery she had to correct it did not work; that is one of the reasons she filed.

Had to register for that site and I could not check appointments because we have not been to a va facility. Anybody have any experience with knowing how diastasis recti is rated? She had surgery to get and correct it but that failed even after a double stitch.

My wife filed a claim late August and it is in the Review of Evidence stage and I was curious when we should expect to get notification of an exam since we are going out of town in a couple of weeks and we really do not want her to miss it since I have heard they can deny you if you cannot make it. I was also wondering what rating she may receive given the knowledge here because she has severe diastasis recti where surgery could not even correct her muscle separation issue.
