  1. Rick H When you say your wife is in ebennies. Do you mean she is listed as a dependent. You can find this out by clicking on " dependents" on your dash board and it will say whether or not she is on the claim.
  2. Smirack Just curious, how long ago was it when you submitted online?
  3. USMC, I have to agree it doesn't sound air tight but I thought I'd share it...Who knows
  4. This may be helpful for some. After uploading my forms for dependency ( 2 months ago) I checked to see the status and it said under review with a completion date of 2017. I used the chat feature on ebenefits to verify the 2017 date and found that it was in error but was not givien a more realistic date. Anyway while on the chat line the rep told me call the 1800# and ask to be transferred to the dependency line. I did that. The person on the other end told me that if i would have called them and added my dependents via the phone instead of uploading on ebenefits I would probably be compensated by now. So as far as I know anyone that has to put in a dependent claim is better off calling and asking for the dependent dept and have all information ready ie; full names, socials and birthdates.
  5. It was actually my first compensation payment today. Usually all my deposits show up around 5 am. But for some reason this payment didn't post until around 7 am. Check your bank later this morning it may be there
  6. Smirack, Just to give you a snap shot of mine. My claim closed on 9 June 2015. I received my back pay on 12 June 2015. I updated my dependents on ebenefits and called the 1800# to alert them. At which time they said that they have a backlog and it won't be processed immediately but they will give you retro from the date the claim was filed. FYI....I 'm not receiving retirement pay so I guess my retro didn't have to go through a DFAS Audit which some say can take a few weeks. Hope this helps
  7. Another Update Claim close on 9 June, received retro pay on 12 June. BTW I'm not a retiree so I guess it didn't have to go through DFAS audit. Filed in Nov 2014 for PTSD and tinnitus. Awarded both claims. Filed out of Philadelphia. Hope this will be and inspiration to others. I know all cases are different but for the ones that have a few contentions this may serve as a blue print. Heard and read so many stories on the retro, it actually came before the BBE. Thanks again to all of you for your advice and comments.
  8. Navy4Life, I do hope that the information is also not accurate. But the rep stated it's going to be a very daunting task and seemed pretty confident that this will eventually be accomplished.
  9. It talked with MY Health VET customer service rep yesterday asking about why a c and p exam is missing from my information. She state that all c and p exams will be removed from MHV because they are not suppose to be in there it is only supposed to be available for the raters and RO's. So you better copy or save all your notes you have in MHV. She said they are removing them daily.
  10. Berta, All I see in upper right hand corner is my social that XXX out and the "27/eBenefits". My regional office is Philadelphia if you can help with information for that.
  11. Berta, Yes after reading further I have 10 percent for tinnitus......so you were right about them wanting treatment records for something other than PTSD. No I'm not umemployed. BTW...... I don't think my monthly rates reflects my dependents, how do I correct that. Another question: When can I expect my retro
  12. Update: Just recieved notice in ebenefits with a rating of 70 percent for PTSD. I would like to thank everyone that gave me advice and commented on my quest. Still don't know what that whole service treatment record request was all about during my time down range. My treatment are going well and I'm glad to have made a decision to start back up after 8 years. Thanks again.
  13. Just got off the phone with MY Health VET costumer service rep asking about why a c and p exam is missing from my information. She state that all c and p exams will be removed from MHV because they are not suppose to be in there it is only supposed to be available for the raters and RO's. So you better copy or save all your notes you have in MHV. Anyone else heard anything like this?
  14. As a matter of fact yes. But I still sent them a message to explain why its missing and do they intend to re- enter it.
  15. Has anyone ever had a problem with a C and P exam missing from Health Vet after it was submitted and posted? Mine was in Health Vet for almost 2 months up until yesterday.
