  1. Dorothy, I send you a messeage on th 27 fe. at 5:15, can you give me an advice on that.
  2. Dorothy, I recieave A%A and the regular rate, but I also been diagnosed with djd of bilateral knees, ankles, left shoulder and on my back, I also have a disc protrusion on my left side which I am going back to my civilian doctor to refer me to physical therapy because the outpatient clinic in my city is not fit to provide such services on a daily basis so in other words I might have to pay for my therapy out of my pocket. Should I apply for a higher level of aid and attendance or not. Need advice.
  3. Dorothy, You syated that a person requiering the skilled care from a licensed provider or a person under the supervision of a professional you can get a higher aid and attendance. Don't you have to meet certain criterias like recieaving the o or p rate under smc or do they waive those criterias if indeed you need the services of a licensed skilled provider. I just need claryfication is that I am confuse when it comes to getting a higher rate of aid and attendance.
  4. Vike 17 Are you saying that the va uses combined tables in order to grant you smc. I thought that was only for compensation, and another thing the combinations of 50 or 100 are they used only on one time occasion or more than once. Thanks windy city
  5. Hey guys if all this is true now I realized why the va denied my sleep apnea, because they would have to sc me for 50% and they did not want to give me my half step.
  6. Thank for your answer, I am going to talk to my DAV rep. about it. So that means that every time you get a 50% sc you automatically move a half step or this is just a one time deal, because I have a nod to file for my sleep apnea for which I use a cpap and I was told that that is a 50%sc.
  7. Ralph this is the situation, I am 100% for PTSD, 40% for FMS and have an additional 10% for a foot injury plus I recieave A&A at the L level. My question is that section 3.350 smc criteria states that any additional 50% or combinations of 50% disabilities entitles you to the next intermediate, so should I be getting paid at the L level or at the L1/2.
  8. Does anybody knowledegable with the SMC criterias. Need Help.
