Just try texas legislation and I think the bill hb469. Testvet you guys in SC are very lucky maybe one day us texas veterans will get these same benefits.

Is nice to hear all these veterans get that tax exemption in there states. To bad that the state of texas is one of the richest states and they are so cheap when it comes to given veterans a tax break on there property. I am not going to get my hopes high on this bill that is in the legislation regarding tax exemption for 100% veterans. Some of these these cheap BAS***** on the legislation will find a way to make sure we do not get it

The reason for me asking is that I think it was on this site that I read that the schools notify the va if you are attending thier schools./ My friend is going to pay for his school because he is not entitle to any school benefits from the va. thanks for youe re[plies to this matter.

Have a friend who is 100% for PTSD but he wants to go back to school to finish is BA but he is afraid that the VA will find out and lower his %. I heard that if you attend any university or college that the school notifies the va, can anybody inform me if this is true or not so I can let my friend know. Thanks

Just got a letter from senator Jeff Wentworth about the exemtion of property taxes and he stated in his letter that the bill if passed will cover those at 100% and those recieving 100% due to unemploybility I think it great but the way the economy is going this bill is not even going to get from here to the corner. Great time they picked for this bill.

Please do not talk about PR, if you have a problem in the way our goverment is given out money than take it out on them and leave PR out of it ok. I do not think you like it when other countries talk bad about the US or burn the flag.

I feel your pain my son was in the hospital for two weeks, total bill 100,000 champva paid their portion and the hospital wrote off the rest. Maybe it could be the medical office that is filing the claims wrong. I had that happened several times but It was not champva fault it was the medical offices sending them to the va instead of champva. Just hang in there and everything will work for the best. you are not the only one that made the sacrifice millones also did. I gave 14 years of my life and I am also diabled 100%. I also have champva as my only insurance for my kids and I been having it for the past 4 years never had any problem. I feel that you should be grateful for what you get for free and any other veteran that feel the same way you do. I am not attacking you I am just expressing my feelings and it just gets me mad to see veterans get all these benefits and still complain about it.

Not to sound rude but how much do you pay for champva that last time my family used champva it was free. If you do not like it than do not use it I am grateful for what the va has done for me and my family.

Thanks for the replies from everybody. I have a situation when my daughter turne 18 she will still be in high school I know I have the choice for her to get her chapter 35 benefits but can I still claim her as a dependent until she is out of high school and then apply for her chapter 35?

Maybe this counry should began adopting the same policies that other countries have when it comes to the death penalty. It is sad that they can put down a dog tha maybe did not do anything wrong but these ass***** that commit horrible crimes get three meals and a roof over there heads thanks to hard working tax payers. I feel that the constitution needs to be changed along with the penal system or a new world order that gets ride of the garbage in the world.

berta I was awarded IU with chapter 35 benefits in 10/2004 but then was awarded 100% on 4/2006 My ? is when does the 10 year begin for my wife. I know my kids are still in grade school.
