  1. So, iceturkee, did the VA grant you compensation for your back?
  2. Thanks so much! I saw a podiatrist a few years ago. I will surely go back!
  3. My flatfeet were determined not service connected by the VA. Yes, I had them upon entering, but they never bothered me. I continued to have problems with my feet over the years during my military stint. One orthopedic surgeon even asked me how I got into the military in the first place. The Navy even made custom inserts from using molds of my feet to assist me and it was unsuccessful. My entrance exam says that my feet were "abnormal." But, I was allowed to serve. My question is this; since the condition existed when I enlisted (although I never had any pain or trouble), are there no grounds on which to appeal?
  4. Thanks, everyone!!!! I will keep the faith and be patient. Congratulations, Master Chief (Navy04)!
  5. My claim has been at the Pending Devision Approval Stage for months. I kept calling the 1-800 number to check on the progress. The representatives basically read the description for Preparation for Decision verbatim as it reads in eBenefits. Today, I called the VA Office of the Secretary for Benefits in DC and was told that my claim was previously in Preparation for Decision (still says so in eBenefits.) However, it seems as if the supervisor sent it back to the rater and he couldn't see any percentage or recommendation in the system. There is nothing in the system that says that more information is needed from me or any clinicians/appointments. Is there anything I can do at this point? Can the VA move the claim along? I'm panicking.
