Hello, I just recently retired 31 August, all me physicals and paper work where completed and turned in before I actually retired. In ebenifits my claim showed up 1 Sep, my claim went to the preparation for decision phase 22 Sep and hasn't moved since. It initially said the estimated completion was 13 Dec-7 Jan but around 2 October it changed to regional office doesn't know the completion date? I called the va and was told that my record had been sent to another office because the workload was less than there's and that was normal for them to spread it out so as to complete the claims quicker. I had 3 buddy's retire a month to 3 months prior to me and they have already started receiving their compensation pay and received their back pay. Does anyone have any information for me? I know it hasn't been that long but the intent of doing everything before getting out was suppose to speed everything up. I'm at a loss here. Thanks for any input?
