I just had my C&P exam about 1 1/2 week ago. My question is will they rater use what they said to approve or deny my claim or will they not only look at the exam, but look at the service record and my Dr visits. The C&P examiner kind of stated on my exam that I waited a very long time to file a claim and she never asked me why I waited so long. My reason being I never knew about service connected claims. I just found out this year, when I went to the VA clinic for the 1st time. When I got out nobody told me anything, except for home loans and education

I filed at the beginning of January. I have been at the gathering evidence, document overdue, development letter sent for 2 1/2 months. Then yesterday I got a letter in the mail stating I need to sign and send back form 21-4142 (Authorization to disclose information to the dept of Veteran affairs). My question is what next? Also The Va is treating me already for this so would I need to have a C&P exam?
