  1. sorry the para is (:P(1).....the smiley face goot in the way
  2. kluender, pls turn to section 3.157 report of exam or hospitalization as a claim for increase or to reopen ......auth 38 USC 5110(a)) specifically i think your looking for para (:P(1) of that section.your claim under 1151 due to time but va support is avail...SC it and then get that eye repaired. and bless you for continuing the search to help your "VET"!!!!!
  3. if that surgery can be SC the va will support the vet.....but there are still questions to answer, IE: did he have SCed DMII,or some other way to SC the eye injury? did his eye specialist send him to the military? if he the vet, opted to use his retiree status to obtain the necessary proceedure from the us goverment, can the 1155 claim rules be used??? up until 1994-5 the answer was no, however, the government was challenged and lost. I used the rule change in 1996, but it may have been changed since then.
  4. hey there vetswife i had one of those stents put in my AAA in 2002 --piece of cake!!!!i had the dacron patch thing put in in 1993 only to start bulging out again(boy when they tell you to have it csaned each year do it,)I know exactly what equipment they are talking about that failed, they must have a lousy repairman they are not too complicated, they use them for heart stents also. They kept me in bed for 12 hours for the artery in my leg to healup and i was out of bed.went home next day. Have the stent c scanned each year cause they can move. The hubby will be stiff for a while untill he gets used to it, it may catch the skin but wont hurt, if it does pinch let the dr know he can check it by finger tip pressure.please dont worry this stent is much better than the old method. I was in the hospital, due to that proceedure,46 days, and 26 pints of blood.I was coming apart faster than they could repair me!!me and the good lord got to know each other real well. I will pray for you two tonight!!!!!

  14. I was looking at old paperwork(VA)tonight, in 1994 they gave me a c&p where they were evaluating my residuals from a 1988 stroke they mentioned some memory loss.In 1996 I had a hearing for another claim the hearing finally got to the residuals of the stroke(1988)the hearing official agreed that another issue of the stroke, is the memory loss.to quote him"ill look into it and see that it is covered" well obviously my memory is bad since i never remembered! What can i do now? Im an old texan who lives by my word and i think the VA should also,so i want to correct this.

  16. i have been following Breta's claims .I decided to pull my old SMR's to look. I find that the work up for my retirement physical includes diagnosis that include high glucose, high triglycerides, hyperglycermia and hyperlipoprotememia(dyslipidemia) i went to the merek site to look these up wow i was a basket case for diabetes. but in 1982 when i retired the case had not been made for the disease thus it was ignored by all. I am now sc for the disease because of the AO connection. what are my chances of geting this sc back dated? (it would sure help on most all of my claims)
