  1. I submitted several requests, individually for medical bills and medication reimbursement to ChampVA over a month ago.

I haven't heard anything back from them. Can anyone tell me how long does it usually take to hear back from them? I thought

I would at least hear from them saying they received my requests.

    Thanks,

    T

  2.

If you don't mind me chiming in, I just got my husband an ID card. You will also need your original marriage certificate. They will not take any copied material as I learned the hard way and had to come back on a later date. Once you receive the ID, you will have to apply for Champva for her and your children If you have any. I applied for my 4 kids and  my husband. One of my kids is 18 and in college, so he also qualified as a student.

  3. This morning, I checked ebenefits and it was still at waiting for decision approval. I just checked it again and now it says, "Prep for notification." So I decided to check

my awards and it stayed the same at 90 percent with the award date of 2015. I then checked my dependent award and it has disappeared. It now lists my dependent but it said, "dependent not on award" where they use to be on it. So my question is, did I get denied? Awarded but ebennies not updated yet, and what happened to my dependents? I'm confused. Can anyone shed a light on this?

    Thanks.

  4. Hello everyone, I filed a claim back on November 30th 2015 for Tinnitus, Hearing loss, Vertigo, facial fracture, TMJ and migraine. A month ago, I received a rating of 80 percent and had 4 contentions deferred. Today I received an additional 10 percent for Migraines, rated at (50%) which brought me up to 90 percent. I was denied service connection for hearing, tinnitus and Vertigo. What I did not expect is they inferred a claim of Traumatic Brain injury, (From a motor vehicle accident and domestic violence) for me and awarded me 40 percent for that and 30 percent for a etopic emergency surgery I had forgotten about and 40 percent for TMJ.  In the award for TBI they included the vertigo symptoms. I guess that is a way for them to save money. In any event all that total 90 percent. My question for everyone is, how difficult will it be to try for 100%. If I appeal the non service connection for hearing and tinnitus what will I need to strengthen my claim? I was in communications for my MOS, exposed to noise everyday and I thought it would be an easy claim. Also I was contemplating fighting the vertigo denial. Can I do that if they included the symptoms for the TBI?

    Thank you for your time.

Anyone know how to change that title?
