  1. 465 days and counting. My rep is telling me direct reviews are taking on average about 2 years. No where near the 405 day
  2. No nothing has been service connected yet. This last psychologist said my anxiety is probably caused by military service, but she did not put that in her notes.
  3. I have a remand from the BVA for ptsd that I have been fighting for since 2012. I put in claim in 2012 and have had 2 c and p exams stating I don't have ptsd, but I have been seeing psychiatrists at my local va hospital who all have said I have ptsd. I have been seeing psychiatrists regularly since 2012 when my primary care sent consult. I have been through 4 psychiatrists since and all have diagnosed me ptsd. One even wrote a letter for my appeals explaining my symptoms and her reasoning why I have ptsd. This last week the va sent me to a psychologist to get me started in another ptsd group because my social worker is retiring. This psychologist then tells me I don't meet criteria for ptsd even though I meet the combat stressors. In her opinion I have severe anxiety and major depressive disorder. She even stated the anxiety and depression could be military related. My appeal was remanded in May 2018 and I am still waiting on my court ordered c and p exam. Now I have a psychologist stating no ptsd even though I have multiple diagnosis from 4 different psychiatrists. How is this going to affect my claim?
  4. Finally!! Ebenefits shows my new ratings and my letter has been mailed. Should have retro very soon... hopefully.
  5. I'll look into a writ of mandamus and bring it up with my rep. Then go from there. Thanks for the info vetquest.
  6. What aggravates me more than anything is at this point there is no way to keep up with the stages of your claim. Peggy will give different answers depending on who you talk too. Some will try to be helpful and answer more than their supposed too. Why are they not allowed to say Hey, a rater is making a decision or has made a decision and waiting for authorization. Instead it's being worked on with no timeline. Obviously they have the information in front of them, or some wouldn't be able to volunteer more info than others.
  7. Has anyone had a bva partial grant implemented yet within the last year. May 1st I had a partial grant for my left shoulder and my PTSD remanded. September I was told I was rated at 20 percent for shoulder with retro going back to Jan 2012 by my rep. Peggy even slipped up once and told me my rating, just pending authorization. That was in Oct. Anyone else in the same boat? I haven't had any implementation st all. Nov 28 I received a letter stating my RO has started on my remand. I'm hoping they aren't going to finish my remand before paying me anything.
  8. Kelly I didnt know they sent notifications either for remands. I got a letter stating the RO started on my remand and for me to send in any additional evidence. I was surprised.
  9. Kelly Severance on the 3rd of December I received paperwork from the VA that the RO has started working on my remand. Sent the forms for any other evidence and 30 days evidence turn in period. They still haven't set up my bva ordered c and p yet.
  10. Still waiting on my grant since May 1st. According to my rep I have been rated 20% for my left shoulder since Sept. Even Peggy told me I have been rated 20% but still pending. Now when I call Peggy they dont Sant ro say anything. They wont even admit I have a rating now. Its beyond frustrating that they make us wait this long.
  11. Just got off the phone with Peggy and was told my BVA grant was rated at 20%. BUT, because I have a remand with the same appeal, they are waiting for everything to be finished before they pay me. SMH. This is from a grant and remand dates May 1st.
  12. Haven't seen any movement at all and Peggy refuses to give me a straight answer on anything. My rep keeps me posted of what's going on because he is waiting on payment also. BVA grant May 1st and a remand.
  13. It's up to the RO ro rate you. The judge can only grant a disability on evidence, not give a rating. Waiting on the RO can take a long time. Depends on how backlogged it is.
  14. I had a BVA grant May 1st. Haven't seen any movement until September when my rep filed for their fees. Then rep received email telling them my rating and how far back I was getting payed. Was told it could take up to 90 days for implementation from September 27. Good luck with yours. Mine was a partial grant with 1 remand.
  15. The BVA just changed its docket date to January 2017. I have a form 9 filed for the beginning of 2017 and it hasn't even been certified to the board yet. How is this going to work? Actually I have 2 form 9s files in 2017. One at the beginning of the year and one at the end.
  16. It didn't even show the Biloxi VAMC. Figures.
  17. I was going through the same thing. I have a grant and remand from May 1st. My rep finally sent a email to whoever they go through to get paid last week. He called me yesterday and told me my rating and said it should be implemented anywhere from 10 to 90 days now. Now I'm just waiting for the new c&p exam ordered by the bva and getting this remand finished.
  18. Was just informed today by my rep that I have been rated 20 percent on my shoulder going back to Jan 2012. Just waiting on the RO ro implement and send out the award letter. The rep sent out a email last week regarding their pay from VA and finally it's getting done. Granted by bva May 1st.
  19. I had a BVA grant and remand May 1st and have seen no movement at all. Nobody can give me a answer on my grant. Sometimes I'm told they might be waiting on my remand to be completed. frustrating.
  20. Treysnonna, when I said reps I meant paid attorneys. Sorry for the misunderstanding. They are the ones who complained the remands were taking too long at the RO level. They felt like the vets who were paying for reps were being punished. But like I said, i havent been able to confirm anything yet. Supposedly this went into effect in April so...
  21. I was just informed by my rep yesterday that all demands were going to the AMC now. He gave the reason that the AMC took less time to complete a remand than the RO and all the reps complained about it. According to him the AMC took 200 days on average and the RO took around 500 days on average. I havent confirmed this with anyone else yet.
  22. It' going to take a week or two for the judge to write up the decision. Mine was decided 19th of April and i didnt find out the decision until the 3rd of May. Nobody will tell you the decision over the phone. Just be patient. Vets.gov let me know the decision a coie of days before i received the letter.
  23. Treysnonna, if you look up the boa rd of veterans appeals, you will see customer service. They give you the number there.
