Thanks Guys. My Nod has been in Newark NJ RO since July and it has been in review phase from that time. so i am assuming that I should be getting my letter with a soc in few months. thanks again. also. does any one have a phone number for Newark NJ Ro office...

Hello Everyone, Can some help understand how long this NOD for P&T takes. i am new to this and i have been searching online for information about this. i have check my ebenefits for status on my P&T and as of right now it states: Your NOD has been received by the RO. The RO will make a decision or develop the Statement of the Case (SOC) for your appeal. This means they review all of the evidence related to your appeal, including any new evidence you submit. When the SOC is prepared, you will receive a copy of it in the mail. its been over 5 months on this phase. i have called 1800 number and they told me its in NEwark Ro's hand....does any one know or have any clue on how long this will take.. Thanks
