  1. It was complete this morning. I got service connected for Anxiety and not PTSD. I think it was because I only had an Anxiety diagnosis before my C&P appointment and I got my PTSD diagnosis after. I got 50%. Thank you for all your help. Hopefully I will get a better explanation on how they came up with it.
  2. Thank you for the info. I'll be sure to do it that it comes out that way. Now as of this morning, Preparation for decision. That's pretty quick. Praying it's favorable.
  3. Thank you for sharing. I'm becoming an Ebenefits addict. lol. It's just that I submitted so many things after my C&P that would have changed my C&P outcome but I've called and they assured me that they looked at everything I sent and they don't base it off just the C&P alone.
  4. I'm in the same boat. I submitted it thru Ebenefits on the 29th and it's pending decison approval on the 30th. Hope that they see it. IT's my personal statement for ptsd-mst
  5. My claim status is now Pending Decision Approval. It says "The recommended decision is reviewed, and a final award approval is made. We will process the decision and review it for accuracy, and notify you by mail. If it is determined that more evidence or information is required, the claim will be sent back in the process for more information or evidence.". Hope this works out favorable!!
  6. I have some things I wanted to add to my statement. Can I send it in word format and upload it to benefits?
  7. I went to the Regional Office and got a copy of my last C&P exam. This was before I submitted my diagnosis of Chronic post-traumatic stress disorder, Generalized anxiety disorder, Mild alcohol dependence, Severe major depression with psychotic features and Sleep disorder. They have that "The claimed condition was less likely than not (less than 50 percent) incurred in or caused by the claimed in-service injury, event or illness. provide rationale in section c. Since this C&P appointment, I turned in my VA mental health records, a statement from my brother and husband. I also have my statement as well. I talked to a VA rep and they said my claim went back into gathering evidence phase since I turned in my new information. They also said that they requested a DBQ for PTSD. I hope this is a good sign.
  8. Thank you for sharing. I called the regional office again to clarify. They see the new information that I sent in from my Mental Health provider (myhealthyvet) and they said that it would be included in the decision process. I explained how I had my C&P exam before this and how my answers to diagnosis and medication are different, they said that they take all that into consideration and sometimes people don't need a C&P to get rated. I'm hoping this is true and that my claim is favorable. I've been denied in the past due to not making my appointments with Mental Health. I was discouraged with the process and not comfortable with talking with anyone. I finally went in and started treatment for Chronic post-traumatic stress disorder, Generalized anxiety disorder, Mild alcohol dependence, Severe major depression with psychotic features and Sleep disorder. Is this enough for them to rate me? and also has Adult victim of sexual abuse during military service in there as well.
  9. Thank you so much for the info. My C&P exam was through QTC so the VA said they cannot get a copy for me. They said the regional office can get it but it will take a long time because they need to scrub it and go through hoops before I can get a copy. They said it would delay my claim to years. I told them I have added more documents and they said that they will add it to the final decision. They are set to make a final decision next month. I have VA Medical documents with Adult victim of sexual abuse during military service (SCT 718495005), Chronic post-traumatic stress disorder (SCT 313182004), Generalized anxiety disorder (SCT 21897009), Mild alcohol dependence (SCT 713583005), Severe major depression with psychotic features (SCT 73867007), and Sleep disorder (SCT 39898005) from my Mental Health provider. This is the documents I submitted. I have my statement and my hubsand's statement as well. I'm hoping this will help. I wish there was a way to get a hold of the c&p exam without it effecting my claim.
  10. It took me long time to get the courage to go to the VA. I started my claim to help me get motivated to go and finally get help. I went and was prescribed BUPROPION HCL and TRAZODONE HCL. I was diagnosed with Adult victim of sexual abuse during military service (SCT 718495005), Chronic post-traumatic stress disorder (SCT 313182004), Generalized anxiety disorder (SCT 21897009), Mild alcohol dependence (SCT 713583005), Severe major depression with psychotic features (SCT 73867007) and Sleep disorder (SCT 39898005). I added all of this to my claim. Is it too late for them to review it since they haven't reached a decision yet?
  11. I was assaulted while overseas in a guard tower. The guy ended up having to leave country. I started my claim and Mental Health Appointments. I'm at the "gathering evidence" stage. I was diagnosed with PTSD from a VA provider and prescribed medication during this stage. I already had my C&P appointment in which I absolutely hated. The lady was not apathetic at all and very cold. I didn't feel comfortable opening up to her. My question is, Can I add my diagnosis from the VA of PTSD to "gathering evidence"? Can I print the encounter notes from myhealthyvet and add it on there? Or will they pull my va records?
