  1. When I logged in ebenefits it shows they have reviewed the document they requested (C&P exam request). Now there is a new request for me this time. It says they are requesting my service medical records. I submitted all of these already when I submitted my claim online. Do I resubmit the documents I already submitted online? I have to request my C&P exam/ cray results since I dont have a premium account. Wouldn’t they have already reviewed my medical records before the exam? Not sure if this order of things is a bad sign or good sign about the way the claim is shaping. it looks like they are requesting my original medical service records. Not sure why they allow you to upload them if they want the originals. I thought they would have done this very first thing.
  2. I have issues with my knees, but only service records showing the bunion I got while in along with foot pains. I recently put in a claim for my knees but the way the c&p doctor acted around me makes me think that it is going to be denied. I did not have any service records showing issues with my knees. My examine during processing when I went in shows that I had moderate pes planus that was asymptomatic. I did not have any bunions. I went in when I was 17, and was out before I turned 21. My wife, and others have said that my knee issues has to be due to my horrible gait, and over pronation. The bunion I have on one foot would constantly bleed from all the road marches, and fun boot PT. I got it checked out while I was in, but was told I would need to re-up to get it operated on due to not having >6 months left. I have service records showing my bunion was at 45 degrees . I would say my feet are more of the severe category now. This past C&p exam has made me think now that I have to have lots of records showing feet issues to even attempt to make a claim. I haven't tried any treatment for my feet since leaving the service, because my knees have been the only issues. I plan on waiting for my knee denial before filing this claim if I do. Does anyone have any experience similar to this? I have researched the heck out of this, because I thought if it showed my feet were "moderate" flat feet when I went in then why try to claim flat feet. I have seen cases where people had this and won their appeal due to the examine said their feet were asymptomatic, and not causing pain before. Is it worth it to get an attorney to help show the relationship between feet, and knees if its possible? Thanks for any help.
  3. An advice anyone can give would be appreciated. I go in for my first C&P exam for my knee issues. I submitted a FDC with my military medical records showing foot issues, shin splints, and issues with bunions. They wanted to operate on the one bunion but I would have had to reenlist. I also submitted my personal medical records that include my recent MRI reports that show various knee issues. (arthritis, patellar maltracking, meniscus tears...) I received a call to set up my C&P exam about a week after submitted my FDC online. I have been looking online, and found out that if I submit any new paperwork my claim will no longer be a FDC. I wanted to submit the medical report they do when you first enlist that shows everything they document you have wrong with you, and on you. (tattoos, scars, appearance). On this form it shows that I didn't have any bunions when I went in. Then while I was in they got bad enough to see the podiatrist while I was in. I am afraid that connection with my knees will not be there, and cause a denial. Do I bring this medical record with me to the C&P exam in case the doctor ask anything, or even bother showing it to him? Do I wait for the possible denial, and then submit this when I appeal? Should I go ahead and submit this form online, and risk my claim to no longer be a FDC? After submitting my claim, and doing more research online I learned that I shouldn't assume that the reviewers will be able to recognize any secondary conditions. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
