  1. Wow! I went thru basic tng there in '77. we were the last of the WACs. Does this mean that I need to register on the AO list?
  2. I was turned down the first time then hired an attorney and got approved. BUT not before losing my house, car, and declaring bankrupsy.
  3. I requested a numerical rating once I'd discovered that the VA's min rating is 0%. I've had multiple hospitalizations in the VA system since 1992 or so. I do have SSD since 1992. I now have a claim in for mst. Like you, it never made any sense to me. What I do have is 10% for breaking a small bone in my ankle and 10% for a small scar. But nada for the major depression.
  4. I'm still 'service connected for treatment purposes only' despite asking for a numerical rating! I wish you every success with your claims.
  5. You could apply for the scar and discomfort. I think it's 10%. I have 10% on scar that makes wearing a bra painful.
  6. God bless and keep your family close to His heart. I am so sorry for your loss.
  7. The VA denied claim for depression/anxiety again, saying that I had submitted medical evidence in support of my claim, but that it was not material evidence. I noticed that they are still not giving me credit for much of my military service. I had sent in a chronological dates of service/medical history chart as well as the form showing cumulative duty and retirement points. This was not listed as used when considering my claim on letter by VA. I'd be interested in your suggestions on next moves. Is it in my best interest to send in all my dd 214s as new evidence? Or file nod? Also, the medical evidence was letter from phychologist determining that My 'personality disorder' was mst as based on her experience. Do I need to file for mst since it was submitted as new evidence for anxiety? TIA
  8. I'm now up to 20% with two 10% ratings for ankle and a scar. Sounds so trivial when others have major war injuries. Have question about next step on depression claim after I do some on site research. Am proud to have this, though, It helps a lot!
