  1. You are right in the sense that I wouldn't know if it actually is saving any time or not. I appreciate that. I know on my end that all evidence and everything has been submitted and they have everything other than the last records they requested at the last minute which was july 3rd. I just know it has went back and forth in between prep for decision and Gathering of evidence 6 times. All of the comp and Pen exams are complete and now just sitting around waiting for them to get those records. They also requested and opinion from central office in Washington which they already have. Just really wish there was a way to speed this up.
  2. I am already at 50% SC. I have filed a new claim for migraines and unemployability which the VA requested increases on all my disabilities and I have completed all my c&p exams. They now have requested med records from another doctor in reference to my knee and upcoming surgery. I am honestly tired of waiting and this claim should have been done long ago. Is it beneficial to hit the request claim decision button in ebenifits or just wait it out. Also if I do hit the claim decision button how long does it take to get a decision?
  3. I am already service connected for both knees and currently am waiting in the final stages of increased ratings for all of my service connected disabilities.
  4. I just scheduled my first of two knee surgeries. The first one is on Aug 10th for a bone graft in my knee to prep for another acl reconstruction. If I file for the temporary 100% how long does it take before I actually get paid and also will the temporary 100% affect my current claim and increases in any way like postponing them or prolonging them in any way?

  6. My attorney emailed me and stated that the CO Opinion is a "Clarifying Opinion Request".
  7. After the exams I felt confident that they went very well but who knows what the doctors actually put into the exam report and what the raters actually think when reading the report. Im just really hoping that you are right and that this claim is finished very soon. Barely able to make ends meet on what I am recieving now with my compensation.
  8. I have 3 NOD's filed separately from this claim. I originally filed my first claim in 2004 which my attorney and I are fighting for that earlier effective date but all of that is separate from this claim. This claim was originally just for migraines and unemployability but they added my other disabilities as increases to this claim as to which I have completed all of my C&P exams and all evidence has been submitted a few months ago. And it is saying that the CO Opinion Request is no longer needed as of 7-3-2018.
  9. I have a new claim for migraines and unemployability and the va without asking added increases to my current disabilities, L Knee, R Knee, Tinnitus, Major depressive Disorder. They ordered all c&p exams and all were completed. Claim went back and forth several times prep for decision and gathering evidence. It was prep for decision and when it hit the first part of the estimated completion date 7-5-18, it went back to gathering evidence and gave a new estimated completion of january next year. Checked Vets.gov and in the files section showing all of the requested info from the VA it shows Request #7 CO Opinion Request is no longer needed. I cannot find anywhere what a CO Opinion Request is. Can somebody please help?
