    I have still not heard anything!!! I thought I would hear something for sure when my claim for agent/attorney fees closed. no letter. nothing. I would like to know what the decision was.

    Today my claim for agent attorney fees closed on E-bennies. I have still heard nothing about implementation of my service connected grant received may 24 2018.  Also on vets.gov it changed from saying it could take 7-17 mths to complete remand and now says 16-29 mths. I have heard than some people had to wait for the remand to be completed before they issued the grant. I hope this isnt true!! I think the VA guidelines say that they should implement grant and then work on remand. I am so tired and i just would like to know whats going on. I am starting to think that my grant means nothing

    May 24th 2018 grant. it is dec 28 2018 still no response. Ebenefits says my attorney fee claim is estimated to be done by jan 20 2019. i thought for sure i would hear something before they did.

      So frustrating!!!! I have been going crazy for 7 mths wondering when i might hear something. they should not leave you hanging soooo long after a bva grant of service connection. i have looked at every website and check ebenefits 3-4 times a day. I need a hobby bad because this is wearing my head out. I feel like my life is on hold waiting for effective date and rating. I really need this. I hope to hear something soon i will keep everyone posted on my case so that it might save someone else from the WORRY. 7mths and 4 days still waiting

    Thats a great idea!!! I have been worried about what to do for Christmas. I want my kids to have a great holiday. May 24 grant as of dec 14 2018 still no implementation or retro.

    Thought for sure I would be able to give my kids just a little bit nicer Christmas this year. But I should have known better than to count on the V.A.. 7 months and counting. I am starting to think that the only thing im ever going to recieve from the V.A. is a hard time. Sorry for the rant I am just frustrated and sad. Dealing with the V.A. can make you want to eat bullets!!!!!!!

    wow that's crazy. I still have not heard anything from my ro about rating or effective date. my grant was dated may 24th. I'll let you know if and when I hear anything about retro or rating change. They should not give us a run around we have a judgement for crying out loud. If I call the 800 number I get the same canned response of no timeline. They say i am waiting on an authorization signature but how long does that take? If anything I feel they are rude to me!!! Hopefully we can nail down a timeline. I'm at Louisville ro. At least we can vent about it on here!!!

    Its been my experience that remands can take anywhere from 7-17 months. It is very difficult to find a time line when it comes to the VA. A runaround seems to be the most common way they deal with this issue. The iu claim requires that you are 60% service connected and they will not be able to decide this portion of your claim until they make a decision on the degenerative disk diasease. good luck and hang in there I have been working on portions of my claim for YEARS!!

    I received a letter from the BVA dated May 24 , 2018 stating that I had been granted service connection for some issues and a remand for other issues. I am still waiting on an effective date and rating. My question is will the VA implement the grant while waiting on the remand? how long does this process usually take? I was ok while my case was on appeal but since I received my grant I have went crazy. I check e benefits 3 times a day and i cannot stop wondering what my new rating is. How long does this process take? I thought I had won my case but nothing has changed. sooo tired of waiting on the VA. Any info on time would be great or any suggestions to speed this up.
