Hey everyone, before I start, thank you all in advance for any information and advice that you provide. I can always rely on the veteran community when I am in doubt.

Second, I filed an appeal for a right knee secondary to my left knee back in August 2017 after multiple re-opens didn't go in my favor. Here is the timeline of events.

    Appeal submitted - 8/12/17

    Gathering Evidence - 11/17/18

Exam for left and Right knee's - 1/10/19

    Pending Decision Approval - 1/14/19

    Preparation for Decision - 1/15/19

The main question is. why would my claim go from PDA to PFD in less than 12 hours? Is this a good or bad sign? Any advice would be great.

Are you sure that it went from PDA to PFD? That is moving backwards. It does happen, just wanted to clarify that is what you meant.

    Update

So my claim was deferred for additional development, which I don't understand what they mean. If I had all the required caluza elements, what can I possible do now to get it moving along? Does anyone know what I should do at this point?

You wait. They may way a C&P or they may be asking for clarification of an exam. You might be able to call Peggy to get the information.

misread the thread and thought you were addressing me ParadigmGuy. I have a similar situation in another thread. my bad.

No problem. I've seen claims go back and forth a bunch from Pending Decison Approval to Gathering of Evidence,  but haven't read about a lot moving backwards from Pending Notification. My thought was that it may show it going back a step if a second signature qas required.

Hopefully they sort your stuff out soon.

This morning it changed on Ebenefits from pending notification to pending decision approval. I give up trying to understand the VA.

I am hopeful that congress offers me the position but still no word.

Did you have a large backpay amount? I am wondering if it went from Pending Notification to Pending Decision Approval because is needed a second signature for more than $25K in backpay.

Please ask your question in a "new" post, you will get more answers to it.  I know you are new, and would answer  your question if I had a great answer, but I do not.

Will do. I thought that it might be helpful to ask in a thread that already discussed TBI. But I'll look for the right area and will make a new post.

yeah just received the decision not enough records for aid ad attendance which the RO and the VBA said I needed a 21-2680 filled out by my doctor which was what they wanted not the C and P they sent me to labeled for aid and attendance. But my doctor said he really never filled out one for so he just wrote the 5 dxs the C and P listed OCD, PTSD, sTBI, and migraines. Very little else in the form of what he was checking off other then checking off the need for medication management and preparing my own meals. So instead of waiting for this denial anyone have anybody licensed who knows how to fill one of these application out by reviewing my records? hopefully I can have it done and submitted soon

I filed for A&A and SMC T for a TBI on 22JUN18. I just found this forum so this is my first post. I AM 100% schedular but only 50% PTSD/TBI, so I also asked for an increase.

I have had two C&Ps and now am in "Review of Evidence". Has anyone here had any traction getting SMC T for a TBI?
