  1. I'm put in my claims for PTSD and migraines. I plan on filing for TDIU due to both. I'm currently in a protected work environment. I was also fired from my last job because of my migraines. Would the VA send me in for another C&P exam right after just having gone through one?
  2. Thank you. I was planning on bringing a filled out one just as an example but also a couple blanket DBQs for her. I've had real problems with doctors not wanting to do claims documents. I'm not from a military town so they get freaked out when I bring it up. I've had to change doctors a few times.
  3. I'm trying to make it easy for my doctor to help me with my VA claim. I'm filling out my DBQ for Migraines and I'm stuck on Section V 5B. I don't understand the section. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you

  5. I know my Migraines are due to my PTSD. I've been going to the Vet Center for the last couple of months and finally have my paperwork to turn over to the VA for a claim. It says I do have PTSD that's related to my time in Iraq. Can I also file for Migraines secondary to the PTSD or do I have to wait to first become service connected?

  7. Are there any clinics like this in or around central Texas?
  8. What about if you're working in a protected work place? I miss many days due to my migraines and my boss allows me to lay down sometimes for a few hours or lets me go home early.

  10. Thank you everyone for your replies. I really appreciate it. I can understand what you Vietnam guy are going through. My godfather came back with agent orange and seen him suffer effect from it. We burned more than human feces in those barrel. We burned our water bottles, MRE bags, broken electrics, etc. All I know is I didn't have chronic bronchitis, coughs and some other problems before I left. Thanks again for the help guys.
  11. Hello. I served in Iraq from early 2003-2004 as a reservist. My unit burned human waste and trash in barrels right outside our building that had no windows. I would constantly wake up to our room filled with smoke. I also burned and computer parts on a weekly basis the whole time I was there. I eventually developed a cough. I went to the VA in 2005 about my cough. They set up an appointment for me but I never received anything for it. I never followed up with it and decided to just suck it up. I eventually developed bronchitis that last months and then a not so bad cough/clear throat that last a few more months every year for the last 14 years. There are other things but I won't get into that now. I finally went back to the VA and they told me they would reopen the case. If approved for disability would I get back pay from 2005 when I first opened the case or just when I went back to the VA? Thank you
