  1. I have been rated 20% for my back. I have a lot of notes and evidence that show (to me) that it should be higher. If that 20% got raised to 40% I would get an overall rating of 100%. My question is the guidlines for back disability. One of the criteria is for time of incapacitating episodes. I have notes from my V.A. Dr., my FMLA forms and attendance records which include reason for missed work. Will the V.A. ever use the critera of incapacitating episodes since it is listed as a critera? Thanks.
  2. Hi. I JUST got my decision letter yesterday. I got 90%. With my conditions I am SO close to 100%. Thanks.
  3. I filed for disability in July 2021. My case has been stuck in pending decision since December 2021. I received one letter apologizing for the delay in Jan 2022. I filed for 10 conditions some for secondary and some for increase and submitted a lot of evidence. I figured the delay was because of that. Now I'm in a panic state that something is wrong with my claim since I've not heard anything since January. Is it possible the delay is just due to the amount of stuff I have filed for and amount of evidence I submitted? I'm concerned I did something wrong. My anxiety is really high about this. Is there anything I can do just to find out what's going on? Thanks.
  4. I just got the results from my C&P and my total percentage of disability was increased to 80%. For me and my situation I find this a very favorable result. I was working with a great VSO who has worked with me over the years and I really liked and trusted him. He has helped me a lot. But he just retired. He recommended me someone else after he left. I asked the new person a question about when my new rating benefits would take effect? He explained the process to me, and demanded my social security number to check on things. I gave it to him and he looked up my case. He had already answered my question without the SSN. He seemed disgusted with the case. He was gruff and dismissive. He is new to the system and he doesn't seem for the Veterans. Now I really wish I had not seen him or given him my social security number. I'm now afraid he might put in for a re-eval and decrease in percentage of disability. Is this even possible? Am I worried about something I don't need to be worried about? Or can a VSO request re-eval and decrease? Thanks, -maybe i'm worried about nothing VeteranNadine
