I served in the USAF 1971-1975, I was a weapons mechanic and worked on the flight line 4 years. I was stationed at UBON RTAFB Thailand 1972-1973 during the Vietnam war. I have filed a claim for service connected through the DAV and have 20% disability for hearing and skin condition that occurred while I was in Thailand on my service records and medical records. I have now been diagnosed with aplastic anemia and very disabled. The VA sent me to Duke University for treatment, and I am on medication for autoimmune disorder and low platelets most likely for life. Herbicides were used at UBON while I was there, I was bitten by a misquote while I was there that laid a egg under my skin and two generations of antibodies of a very rare misquote only found in remote areas of South East Asia were present in my imune system.I here been turned down for an increase in disability last September 2018. I was diagnosed with aplastic anemia November 2019. any help would be greatly appreciated.
