I served in Vietnam in '67 - '68. I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in 2002, but did not find out until 2017 that it was an Agent Orange presumptive disease and eligible for disability compensation. I filed a claim in 2017 and was granted a disability rating based on a service-connected disability. On my VA claim it states: "The effective date when you became disabled due to your service-connected disability is August 2017" I would like to have the eff date changed to 2002 and get lump sum back-pay - Does anyone know if this is possible ?
