Hello, Was wondering if there is anyone on here that has had longterm exposure to JP-8 and if they've had any health problems? Tried looking up the subject on google but could only find reports from studies that were pretty vague. I was an Aircraft Fuel System Mechanic in the Air Force for 8 years and had prolonged exposure to the fumes, as well as prolonged exposure to my skin from working inside the aircraft's fuel tanks. Have been having health problems such as unexplained weight loss, chronic fatigue, no appetite, etc. Did bloodwork a few times and each time my white blood cell count was high and my lymphocytes were low, and chronic/acute infections have been ruled out, so now I've been referred to a hemotologist.
