  1. Submitted a BVA direct review 1-11-22. They advertise "average wait time" of one year. In about 2 weeks, I'll be at two years. It has said waiting for a judge to review this whole time. Recently I was told by a VSO that they are just starting 09-2019 appeals. Any one have any insight or personal experience? Thanks.
  2. I was getting smc. They took it away because of the other va dbq completed. Even though there was already sufficient evidence, they still did a c&p.
  3. I filed a BVA advancement on the docket today. Provided evidence why I should qualify and explained my appeal. In 2021, with my civilian doctors (otolaryngologist) paperwork i submitted, I was granted an increase (already service connected) to 100%. Months later, the va still scheduled a c&p exam for me, even with sufficient evidence and of higher probative value. That c&p exam like a PA (physician assistant) and a general MD to not mark the same boxes as my doctor which resulted in my decrease. After faxing an advancement on docket today, after logging in Ebenefits I noticed they had filed a CUE same day and was already assigned to a reviewer. It wasn’t what I asked for but I’m kinda glad they did it. Any similar stories?

  5. BVA direct review appeal 1-11-22. Filed for AOD a few weeks ago and was told 5/25/23 it was assigned to a judge and AOD was approved. Received this today, generic email or truth to it? unavle to call todya since sunday. has anyone seen this before or heard of?
  6. wow, a text from the BVA? sounds like a scam lol. this was within 30-90 days you said after AOD, right? Do you think i'd have any benefit calling NCC? I called bva today and the guy seemed more willing to tell me more than anyone else has. I would just like to know how/when i'll see an update being i was approved AOD 30 days ago.
  7. Thank you. I'm at 30 days now, assigned to a judge, just waiting for a hopeful right decision. I was given 100% from my doctors paperwork and the va still did a C&P exam. They held the c&p results with a higher probative value (general physician ) over my doctors paperwork, whose a otolaryngologist and specializes in my illness. My 30% meneirs went to 100% for a month then after their bs C&P, i was reduced back down. how do you check these things? VA website doesn't reflect anything and I dont want to be super annoying with weekly phone calls.
  8. I have an appeal which was submitted 1-11-2022. I submitted a hardship and found out it was approved and assigned to a judge on 5/25/2023. Does anyone have an estimate range form this point on? I know "average" is 1 year and i'm far past that. Being it's now being seen by a judge, i wonder what the rest of the timeline may look like. Thank you.
  9. That’s great; but how long after you submitted AOD did you find out it was approved? If your aod was scepter in march, when do you submit it? That’s where I’m at now
  10. That’s great; but how long after you submitted AOD did you find out it was approved? If your aod was scepter in march, when do you submit it? That’s where I’m at now
  11. Thanks, i just learned that last week. You're saying 30-90 days after being approved is when ones' appeal may be done? That wasn't my question but good to know, too. My question is, after submitting AOD paperwork, how long do they usually take to either accept or deny that request?
  12. Submitted a hardship file claim approx. 7 months ago and was approved. I just found out last week that hardship is only for VA claims (regional office) and doesn't effect BVA claims, which mine is. I submitted an advancement on docket last week and called today to see if they received it, they did. The women said there is no timeline on how long it takes to approve them and wouldn't tell me any further. So, does anyone know the AVERAGE time is takes to get these approved/denied? Thank you. Going on one year with a direct review bva appeal.
  13. Submitted a bva direct review on 1-11-22. Disability was reduced (100 to 80) after a lesser level of care provider (pa) had a conflicting DBQ than my actual doctor who is a specialist in that field (ears). I see average time is 365 days, which is near. I’m also on a hardship claim. My question is should it come to an end here in the next 2 months or what have you heard/|seen with claims like mine.
  14. im waiting for a judge too but mine isn't able to be pulled up. Theres hundreds of claims submitted after mine that are complete, but mine isn't done yet. makes no sense.
  15. google bva docket search, click bva website, scroll down a bit and look for search decisions. It'll drop a drop down search bar and type in your docket date number (first six numbers). Then, it'll show you claims that have been finished and where yours stand.
  16. After filing for an increase in Meniers from 30% to 100%, i was approved for 100%. When i obtained my decision, I was granted 100% from the time my doctors dbq/nexus was submitted to the day the PA (PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT) c&p saw me. So, for that short time, i was granted 100% and it was taken away from a lesser medical profession and not a specialist either. So, for obvious reasons, i filed a bva direct review and was approved for a hardship claim. This was submitted January 11 2022. my docket # is 220111-210676. After checking bva decisions, there are hundreds of claims submitted AFTER mine that have been completed. example. 220111-213432, filed on the same day, hundreds after mine, and still reviewed and decided before mine ANy idea as to why this happens and or what can be taking much longer? PS, i know average is a year.
