jellis's Achievements

  1. There's not a test for Tinnitus , but what you tell them will determine what you receive, Ringing started in Vietnam and continues to this day rings all the time. Always used ear plugs where I worked.
  2. Have vet with hearing lost and tininitus, hearing was not rated examination stated Opinion that the hearing loss is at least as likely as not caused by the noise exposure in the military and most likely aggravated by noise exposure as a civilian. Also has AK 47 Wound right hip rated at 10% PTSD rated 10% was wound during 5hr fire fight where buddy was kill setting up claymore. Need help on how to get better rating, county service officer told him that it. James Ellis 2nd 7th Air Cav :P
  3. Not to upset anyone but I know 2 people with hearing aid and both recieve compensation. It is base on your hearing wihtout hearing aids. they go by the numbers and what the examer puts down. I have 40% and 10% tininutes thanks
  4. Did you get a copy of the treatment report, If not always go to FOIA and request a copy of the exam. They have 20days to get you a copy but it may take longer, then you will know what the Dr. told the VA . thank James
