Earlier this year, I had VA sponsored exams, including one for PTSD. My existing rating originates from two traumatic incidents during each of my two tours in RVN. During the exam, I provided a detailed description of my depression & other symptoms & explained that since my deteriorating health, including advanced cancer and the need to use a catheter and impotence, I'd had recurring thoughts of suicide, including research on a possible trip to Holland to end my life there. The psychologist was empathetic, even offering me contact info about death with dignity. When my VA decision came recently, no mention of the suicide discussion was considered in the rating. I would be grateful if someone could advise me and concerning what type of recourse I have. Many thanks.

Could you please advise me how to proceed? My VA advisor in Germany advised me on a visit to Belgium that, if my prostate cancer recurred, that I would simply need to notify the VA with the appropriate evidence (biopsies / scan reports) for the disability rating to be readjusted/reinstated. Please confirm that I would not have to start from scratch by filing a completely new VBA-21-526EZ, Application for Disability Compensation. Thank you kindly for any assistance.
