fsmith's Achievements

  1. I am encouraged about the 25% increase. I think it is doable but we have to get on our senator's and congressmen's phone and stay on it. What alarms me is the re-evaluation every three years. My mental health Doc's tell me I have no reason to be concerned. (thats scarey) THE BIG CONCERN IS THE SEPERATION OF COMBAT AND NON-COMBAT DISABILITY COMPENSATION. I am combat related but those who are not may get the short end of the stick and I am conerned about that I cannot determine how this is supposed to manifest itself and need clairification on the recommendation.
  2. Ths lower your gaf score the better for disability compensation purposes. 50 is about as high as you want to get. The 30's and 40's are much better for disability purposes. m You can google "gaf scores" and you will find the VA's interpetation of the different scores.
  3. Lisa, I cannot figure out how to respond to your message. I cannot find the organization you are with. Carlie, The VA and BVA and the whole bunch must sit up all hours of the night and dream of ways to torment us for filing claims. If you were not being treated, What were you doing? Again, thanks for your help. Freddy
  4. Carlie, Thanks for all of your hard work copying and posting this information. It is very helpful.. I know what to expect when the BVA attempts to find reasons not to accept resonsiblity for VA employees sick behaviors. Again...Thank You sooooooo much Freddy
  5. I could not get the uplink to a message I received. It is important to me.
  6. I didn't know about the FTCA until yesterday. However, I wasn't diagnosed for PTSD due to sexual harrasment or trauma until yesterday. Do I still have a chance there? I had an attorney and she didn't say anything about an FTCA. Fired her last week. She did nothing. The denial said "there is no diagnosis for PTSD due to sexual trauma or harrasment therefore your claim is denied".
  7. I am rated @100% disabled for PTSD. I was in Wisconsin VAMC and for two years was sexually harrased by a female staff member. I finally, after two years was able to get her in a circumstance that she could not get out of and reported her. There was a huge VA investigtion and ultimatly she was terminated as a result of her behaivors. I filed an 1151 claim and have been denied additional ptsd because residuals from her actions were not dianosed although I have been receiving psyc treatment for five years specific to her actions. I and the VARO in Wichita have the hearing transcripts. The VAMC in Wisconsin, in the hearing transcripts, admits to the wrong doings. My case is at the BVA right now. My psycholgist didn't know a diagnoes wsa necessary and added this incdent to my list of diabling issues. Can I receive both 100% service connected PTSD compensation and compensation for additional ptsd because of the VA employee? Thanks Freddy
