  1. Morning All, I've looked through tons of the IMO posts and noticed that ALOT of them are old (5-10 years) and have nothing on what verbage or key words the VA looks for in an IMO. I have one from my civilian PCP regarding my lower back issues and while it explains the worsening of those issues from the last X-ray they took I feel it might be missing something that the appeals board would pick up on. She'll redo it if I need it redone but I'd rather have her redo it once and not have to keep going back asking to add this word or phrase. Any assistance is Greatly Appreciated!! Thank You for taking the time to read and again for responding.
  2. First off thanks for the replies and info..I apprieciate it!! A big part of the problem is that I NEVER recieved anything from the VA requesting any thing additional or anything like a denial packet. I'm waiting on something now from the phone call I made Friday to the VA. I also had a Congressional involved with this appeal and I will be contacting my Congressman in regards to this today. The more I think about this the angrier I get..yeah..I have issues..trying to keep it under control tho..Thanks again!
  3. I've searched for any info on this subject some but as I suck as a researcher I thought I'd look for info in the form of a question. I've had an appeal in the works for going on three years for an increase in the rating for my service connected lower back issues. It's gotten increasingly worse over the years since the initial rating as well as the limits of my mobility decreasing. I thought I was keeping an eye on it well enough but I was slacking. I found out this past Thursday that my appeal had been closed due to my not giving the VA something. I was never informed that they required anything additional. I was never informed that the appeal had been closed! I've not gotten anything from them paperwork wise. No letter of denial no nothing, and the appeal was closed October 31 2019! Yeah I know..I should have kept a hella closer eye on the appeal..but I didn't..I'm a dumbass but that will not be happening again. My question, after laying out my problem is. What can I do now? Is there anything I can do? I really don't want to lose the last three years waiting on this to just let them say..oh well we closed it even tho we never asked for anything or communicated with you at all..so What can I do? Any and all assistance, comments or critiques are GREATLY APPRECIATED! thanks in advance for taking the time to at least read my post.. Kj Millard
