I called the VA today to check on my retro pay form my disability increase 60-90% retro to Apr 2019. The lady informed me that the audits are conducted quarterly only and I will receive any funds due after that....The date of my decision letter was Aug 10 2020, which mean I will not receive the retro pay until Oct 2020. I asked her about that statement on the award letter which states"If payments are due. you will receive your first payment, if not already in receipt of payments, within 7-10 days of this notice. As mentioned, my notice was dated 10 Aug 2020. I did asked her about the 7-10 day payment....She stated they just put that in the letter.....I thanked her for that information.......Has anyone else be informed of this? This a new change to retro payments?
