  1. As far as I know it qualifies for 100% while you're there. It is inpatient care. My hubby was 100% P&T when he went to the 26 day. btw, I think the Batavia program is kind of unique because they have these "tune-up" programs. In other words if you feel you need it you can go back for these 1-2 week stays. This one was set up by hubby's psychiatrist but I understand they have a walk in thing too for their past patients. I'm not sure how that works though. We've always gone through his doc. He just called to say that he got there okay. I'm relieved. He only got a couple of hours sleep last night and it was 3 1/2 hour drive to get there.
  2. My husband is being admitted to the Batavia "tune-up" track tomorrow morning. He's been there 3 timesin the past, one 26 day program and two 1 week long. This admission is from tomorrow, Tuesday, until next Tuesday. He is a Vietnam Vet. The last time he was there the program had 15 people in it. They've increased the number of beds to 30 now. Of the 15, only 3 were Vietnam Vets. His second stay there, the 26 day, they tried to send him home because they said he was a "ringleader" because he was giving too much advice to the younger veterans. He's like that so that didn't surprise me. His psychiatrist had to intervene to get them to let him stay and he had to promise to be a good boy. Anyway, the program seemed to be a good one and really helped him. He's still in touch with one of the Iraq Vets that he met there and he got a lot out of the program too. The Batavia program was good for my husband because he can't deal with locked doors. If you aren't in classes or other scheduled stuff, you're pretty much free to go do whatever with the exceptions of going to the nearby casino, drinking and drugs. The3y also wanted him to give up his Pepsi, but that just ain't gonna happen. Good luck to you. It's not a bad program.
