I put in for a claim , claiming memory loss, headaches, speech problems, and I am regretting that to Camp Lejeune water. I had a C&P exam questions will be in asked for about mental health. I currently had depression read it at 50% it is now decreased to 30%. I don't know how my depression rating got decreased sense I was putting in for memory problems. No questions to ask about memory, headaches, or forgetting where I was driving to. I am going to appeal?

I thought the BVA direct review was fastest of your choices, it's been almost 2 yrs since I submitted. Any way to check on this, or it's just a slow wheel that is turning. Thanks

Va notified me that C@P records exam is being done for this claim. Which is fine, but I noticed that the Nurse Practitioner is the same one that gave me a in person exam that ultimately gave me most unlikely occurrence that my claim is corrected to my back issue. Thanks

I am scheduled for c@p exam with YES outside contractor, is there way to request the VA of doing that exam? If so how do I request that? Thank you

I applied and denied my claim of Gerd secondary to Lumbar back pain link to medication I did take and are still taking. I applied to have supplemental claim was contracted by email that I being sent for another C@P exam. Just wondering does anyone have any thoughts on that.
-
When a claim is denied and you disagree with the results, as you do your research, is it a good idea and how much pull when you find BVA cases like yours, and the cases side with what you have stated to include them in your disagreement?
Thanks Ken

Thanks for the help, I did file for Gerd which I do have and was noted in health records and trips to hospitals for that, I was denied that disability. So I did a supplement claim, I found BVA claims like mine and Inclosed those plus items back In 83 was given 800 mgs Motrin. For back injury ended up multi back surgeries

Good morning, I am currently at total 90% disable, I am at 40% Lumbar fusion, my question is this, is the SI-Joint more of a back problem or hip or even something else. Because I have been in pain and walk different since my last fusion. I had many shots in my spine and SI-Joint had temp relief, I suspect they want to fuse my SI-Joint next. I also have 10% disability to the RT Hip. Thanks

I have a claim in at the BVA for direct review. It's say waiting to be sent to a judge, it's been the for 18 months. If I were to call the BVA do you think I will get updated information or just a run around? Thanks

I had a c&p exam for ED today. With a female nurse. Part of the exam was physical exam which she said she could not perform do to that fact she had no assistant assigned for her. She did the exam by asking the questions, since no actual exam was done what happens?

I have a claim in at the BAV for direct decision, it's been there for 13 months ( I know others been there longer) , according to VA.gov. It's still waiting to be assigned a judge. Since I made the decision for direct decision I can not submit anymore information if I had any. By why not as far as I know no judge assigned, I should be able to send more information without losing my spot in line. Sorry just Bitching. And thinking lol

Back in 82/83 in Beirut Lebanon, we had burn pits, and of Course this is not Mentioned. I Suspect they were burn pits when we were in Bosnia also. I worked in aviation as mechanic and crew chief and we used Chemicals. Having no idea what the damage they may have done to us. Jet exhaust and Jet fuel was every day Experience for us. I have Developed asthma when I turn 50 years old. So do I have any leg to stand on with this? Thanks

I have question if I should put in a claim for ED, I have back troubles and rated at 40%, and I am rated at 50% for depression secondary to back, the VA has prescribed medication for my MH, and I have seem to have problems in bed. MH doctor said I should talk to primary care doctor and this is what she said.
Erectile dysfunction is a potential side effects of both of these medications unfortunately.
That is straight from my medical records. Anyone have opinion or advice. Thank you

I am currently rated at 40 percent for lumbar fusion, so my question I was diagnosed SI joint arthritis currently taking injections. Is the rating different that a back problem. Thanks Ken

Good morning, about 2 weeks ago I had C@P exam at major depression at the local Va clinic with VA doctor. Two questions in his note he writes
sub-clinical trauma-related symptoms, he also writes in his report that
DSM-5 diagnosis: Other Specified Depressive Disorder (persistent dysphoric mood and amotivation secondary to chronic pain with functional limitations)- more likely than not proximately due to or the result of service-connected intervertebral disc syndrome (previously rated as degenerative disc disease, herniated lumbar disc). I think that this helps my case, what are your opinions?
Thanks

Next week I have C@P exam with the VA. In the pass I had to go to outside contractors ended up with bad results. C@P exam is about depression related to my chronic back pain after 3 surgeries. Do the VA do MH exams mostly?
