LHI is the WORST company a veteran can be associated with. If you have a mileage compensation claim, forget to expect to receive your money in a TIMELY fashion!! My first compensation check arrived torn on July 10, and, of course, our bank would not CASH it. We were told it would take 30 days to reissue another check. Well, it's now September 7, 2021,and we still don't have a check from LHI!! We just got off of the phone this afternoon with them, and they now tell us that it could take another 10 to 15 days to get the check to us because the check had still not been cut!! They, also, gave me a compensation interview at their Indianapolis, Indiana office on June 23, 2021, and because of the extremely POOR LHI interviewer, I was rejected on my disability compensation review. My VA doctor and a VA representative had to intersede on my behalf to finally get the VA Board to look at my appeal a second time, and then it was approved for a percentage increase in disability compensation!! Again, no thanks to LHI!! DO NOT, if at possible, use LHI for interviews, or anything else related to veterans' issues!!
