a friend that was awarded a 20% monthly benefit last year filed a secondary claim which was grante that increased his monthly award to 60% and he received 4 months back pay for himself. When at 20% he never mentioned having a wife &2 kids at 20% they would be a non factor. He now sent in his marriage licence and birth certificates of his dependents. My question is this - would he be able to get the 4 month back pay for them or is it too late?

Hypothetical question, If I’m 100%disabled would my adult step-son whose receiving DEA benefits while attending college continue receiving these benefits if my wife ( his mother) dies while he still in school?

Hypothetical question in regards to DEA. If my adult step son is in college and getting benefits because of my 100% disability and my wife (his mother) would he continue to get paid while attending college?
