  1. For anyone, such as myself, who is already AO presumptive the VA filed on our behalf when Congress directed them to do so. They’ve known about the correlation between AO and thyroid problems for years. I included it in my initial filing in 2011, 10 years before it was added to the list. The VA now has to go back and look at those denials. Not saying they will award it at that date but they have to look at it. I believe for most of us with confirmed long term hypothyroidism the VA will probably award us 30% for 6 months and 10% after that if you are on daily medication. The primary reason for my post on this forum is to find out if the VA is making progress on these claims. Mine has not changed status since Aug 2021.
