i would have a sore finger if i wrote everything about my C & P for an increase from 50 % .. but one thing i had to do was tell him about my night mares , with tears in my eyes and looking at the floor or wall , but i give him the works in detail..some may disagree but do not make much eye contact at the c& p. at the begining of the c&p he told me three words after all the other stuff he then asked me the three words i could only tell him on,, thus the short term memory loss. when he asked about my married life i told him the truth..we havent slept tegether for years because of my yelling and screaming, and thrashing around in bed. she wouldnt get no sleep and a good chance of getting hurt.. we cant sleep together to this day. and i also have to sleep with a light on when i can sleep. theres more but you get the idea,, you have to meat the criteria for 70 % or 100 % i really believe i would have gotten 100% but i goofed i think on a question about hallucinations, i didnt understand at the time what he was asking. good luck with your claim.... big al 70% PTSD...40% lower back.... 10% each leg...10% tinnitus...0% hearing.. tim i have a lower back problem like you,, would you mind saying what two things your trying to get connected as secondary to your back.

nerve block,, is that some type of surgery, gabapentin doesnt do much for me and im up to 1200mg 3 times a day total 3600mg, doc said thats the max i think thats why he said pain clinic, see a specialist who hopfully can find somthing that works, i cant handle these almost constant pain levels im having..im also taking salsalate 1000mg 3 times aday.

seasons greetings all. as some of you may know i have schrapenel wounds in my back and legs, with alot of schrapenel still in me plus djd, muscle damage and nerve damage currently rated 40% back and 10 % each leg. have learned to live with the pain, the meds dont help much, pain level often 6-8. but the last 2-3 months i been having this pins and needles, or burning sensation mostly in my legs but some in back, and starting to feal it in shoulders and arms,, doc uped the meds to the max and said if that dont help call him for another appt.. then he talked about pain clinic. my question any one been through this nerve pain or been to a pain clinic what happens at a pain clinic,, any thing good. to mention the nerve pain is more and more getting in that 7-even 9 range driving me up the wall

send a strong letter from your shrink, any specialists you see ,, your reg doc,, the forn the va has your former employer fill out for tdiu,, your prescriptions and there side effects,, also if you have a cane walker chair etc the prescription for that,, i even sent a copy of my handicap parking tag application the doc filled out. denied 3 months after applying asked for reconsideration 3 months later awarded ssd no improvement expected review in 7 yrs. so much depends on who sees your paper work.

first time i applied i got denied in three months, asked for reconsideration, my shrink, and my orthopedic specialist, wrote stronger letters, in three months i was awarded ssd with no improvment expected review in 7 years.

I am 140% I think 87% va math TDIU..P&T..i get drugs for both service connected and non service connected issues, of course no co-pay and they do not bill my insurance for anything..
