June 1968 Great Lakes lined as up we walked the line getting shots with those guns in each arm. Nearly everyone had bleeding arms. After going on ship occasionally they say we needed booster shots. They'd line us up and give the booster with those guns. Phil

Hi, I recently bought a Coby Kyros tablet with Andriod 4.0 operating system to use when traveling. When I try to go My HealtheVet the browser closes. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks, Phil

Hi, I hope I posted in the correct forum. I have three 10% ratings with VA math is a 27.1% rating. My compensation pay is 30%. Am I entitled to travel pay; at my VA clinic they say you need a full 30% rating to recevie travel pay. Thanks, Phil

Hi, I went to my VA clinic yesterday for a Dr. appointment. When I went to get my travel pay the clerk told me I made to much money I wasn't eligible. I told him I'd got travel pay everytime I've had a appointment since I'd reached 30%. He said I shouldn't have been getting it. Anyway I started asking a little louder questions he said he was going to call security if I didn't leave. I thought I'd ask and be sure I was correct about getting travel pay at 30% before I go back to the clinc tomorrow. Thanks for any help Phil

I also like MyHealtheVet, great for prescriptions. Makes easy to keep up with what meds I'vr taken with the prescriptions history. Phil

I have a 10% rating for a 4 inch painful scar lower abdomen.

Hi Pete, The VSO that has been helping me got is copy of the rating decision today. He also said I had got lowballed. I've got to go pick up a copy of the C&P then he's going to start with a Motion for Reconsideration. I take methotrexate and use two topical creams. VSO said the meds alone should have got me more than a 10% increase. Phil

Hi Pete, The psoriases wasn't service related. If I understand it correctly the only thing I could get rated for was the psoriatic arthritis that had developed in the end joints of my minor fingers due to the hand injury I recevied in the service and had a 0% rating. The rater attached a note with the paper work saying as the psoriatic arthritis worsened in the hand to reapply for a increased rating. I hope they were wrong and it doesn't worsen. Do you think I should a Motion for Reconsideration? Thanks, Phil

Hi, The brown envelope arrived today. Rating was incresed from 0% to 10%. Due to developing psoriatic arthritis in minor joints of right hand. I applied for the increase on 7-27-09 VA must be moving faster on claims at the Winston Salem N.C. clinic. I moved from 20% to 30%. Thanks to hadit members for all their help. Phil

I had a eye exam last week at the VA and my glasses were free. I'm not sure about cataracts but the doctor did say I had started to get cataracts and that they didn't need to be removed yet. Phil

Hi, I had my C&P exam yesterday at 5:30pm. I think it went well. A PA did the exam. She agreed with what the VA doctor had put in my records. I had severe pesoriasis that had developed into psoriatic arthritis in my right hand due toinjury recevied in service limited motion, swelling, pain that was affecting my quality of life. I just hope she was typing in the report what she was saying. Phil

Hi Carlie, I'm not sure what is exact words are. The VSO that helped me with all my paper work has the doctors reports. I know I should have a copy but the VSO is going to make copies for me. The VA doctor is the one who told me to put in for a new evaluation all the treatments have been with VA doctors. Thanks, Phil

Doctor has put in record that psoriatic arthritis went to hand due to the service injury. The doctor prescribed the methotrexate as a no copay medicine due to the service injury. Phil

Hi, I have a C&P next week for a evaluation of a right hand injury that is rated at 0%. Since that 0% rating I have developed severe pesoriasis. I now have psoriatic arthritis in my right hand swelling, limited motion,etc. and take methotrexate for the arthritis. What are my chances of the getting a higher rating and any advice for the C&P.
