  1. I posted here at the very beginning of my adventure with the VA. I wrote my claim myself and used the AL to assist at the RO for submittals, etc. In Nov. 08, I filed a claim for Multiple Myeloma presumptive to AO exposure. My claim had an additional 8 items that were claimed as secondary or residual and awarded. I recieved "official" notice today...my claim has been decided and awarded. 100% P&T, w/housebound, retro to Nov. 08. My claim was awarded almost precisely for what I claimsed. Only two minor denials and the evidence was clear that those two werenot secdondary What a relief and now we(spouse and me) have a real sense of calm and repose.
  2. AO presumptive ...YES Proof of Service in RVN...YES. travel vouchers, PSC orders, boarding passes and confirmed by VA.
  3. Carlie, you are correct...I am not VA rated at this time. I am on SSDI at 100%(2004) and in the final stages of SC claim for AO presumptive Multilple Myeloma w/ 8 secondary or residual issues. I am working through the St. Pete VARO and utilizing State of Flor9da Dept. of Veteran's Affairs, American Legion rep. C&P on 9/23/09, waiting for results. FOIS request of C&P notes...waiting for that too!
  4. I was told by the C&P Examiner (09/23/09) that he saw symptoms of two additional claims that I could file. The C&P is more than likely back at the RO by this time and I presume in the Rating area or where ever it goes AFTER a C&P. I have submitted an FOIA request for a copy of the C&P notes on 10/01/09. Does it make sense to wait until a decision is in on the initial claim before filing the additional claims?
  5. thanks carlie...that is exactly what I'm looking for!!!!!!!!
  6. Is it possible to obtain the CURRENT VARO weekly report? If so...where?
  7. ;) Anyone made a claim for multiple myeloma due to agent orange exposure(RVN). Initial claim filed (St. Pete VARO) 10/08 and claim /file number assigned. I'm now in the waiting line and searching for additional data about any successful claims for MM. My claim included several secondary issues that resulted from tumor(plasmacytoma) removal. T-spine instability, dominant r. hand and forearm dysfunction/ muscle wasting. Trapezius muscle wasting and dysfunction. Functional weakness walking, instability imbalance walking and standing. Any thoughts?
  8. Can anyone offer insight in what to expect in a C&P exam for Multiplr Myeloma and related secondary issues?
  9. Berta, the rating for MM should be the same regardless of the cause. I have reviewed and copied the ref. decision. I'm just not sure how to incorporate it in to the 21-526.
  10. berta, Fortunatley no ED here...!
  11. DaNang RVN '69-'70. Plasmacytoma (Multiple Myeloma) presumptive for Agent Orange exposure. How would it be rated with appliances installed for tumor and damge resection. Should be service related.
