Hi,
I asked this question somewhere else on this site, but havn't seen the answer so I wanted to put it out again since this might throw out my whole MST claim file.
I have a police report to verify the assault that took place in detail with medical evidence while I was in active duty. However, the perpetrator was masked so I cannot prove the attacker was military. If there is no proof the attacker was a military person as the report reflects do I not have a basis to file for MST?
I did make a statement that the attacker may have been someone I knew in the military giving their name and rank, but again they were masked. The civilian police handled the investigation since it happened off base and did call in the SSGT I named, but let him go after a short Q&A and the perpetrator was never identified or found.
