Well, make sure you keep all your copies of all your paperwork. I have 20% disability for my ankle. I got by the American Legions help. You may want to call them. That is the best organization to represent you in my opinion. I know what you are going through. I am trying for PTSD myself. I served 10 yrs of constant harrassment. My mental health nurse says because I was too easy-going. They were able to push me around. It is probably why I lasted 10 yrs because I let everything pass. But it does get to you. My baby died in Germany at the hands of my husband and they tried to take my rank away stating that Maybe I was not mentally capable of upholding my rank right now with what was going on in my life. can you believe it. Yes, they can get rough I learned. Try the American Legion. They do wonders for you.

I am trying to get records that they say do not exist. But they do exist. I am trying to PTSD. I have American Legion as my POA. I am pulling my hair out trying to understand the VA system. I got a letter saying they can not find records on my ex-husband who is in Ft Leavenworth for the last 16 years and no records. If anyone can commit a crime and no records be found do you know how many criminals would love that? It is unbelievable. I gave american legion copies of everything and they could not believe they stated they can not find records. Ok, I am done venting. It is frustrating. How can a court-martial just disappear?

Hi, I have applied for PTSD and having no luck with finding records. Now they say no records exist. My son died and they say he does not exist but yet I have his death certificate that states military jurisdiction brought him here from Germany. So figure this one out. And my ex-husband is spending time at Ft. Leavenworth but he does not exist either they say. But yet I have all the parole papers sent to me from Ft. Leavenworth. Now, I know paperwork can get lost, but come on. Do you know of anyone having the same problems. :(
