We got the Temp 100% now just waiting to hear from VA For the NOD we filed.... and to get paid 100% being married not single I am sure that will take some time... Thanks for all your help......

Ok so we got the letter for 100% temp starting may 10th and one month back pay minus what he already got , so I assume that was junes payment and the deposit should be 100% for aug 1st for the july payment, but the deposit pending in our bank account is only for 20% what my husband has been getting. Can someone help me with this? What do we need to do to make sure he gets paid 100%. Thanks for your help the letter said he would be 100% for one year following his total knee replacement the goes to 30% for the knee starting july 2012.

We got notice today the claim is in the decission stage and notification is next wonder how long that will take?

Oh Wow I hope it doesn't take that long!!!!!! We have been waiting over 2 years for some of his claims to be done, was hoping that this one would be an easy one LOL What was I thinking it is the VA we are dealing with.

Thanks for the replies, knee was service connected before surgery, the NOD is for his back secondary to his bad knee... Did do an IRIS said they had all the paper work and were just starting to work on it, that was about 2 weeks ago. Hope it comes soon we have to move by Aug 1st, would be alot easier with extra money........

My husband had total knee replacement on may 10th we filed all the paper work for temp 100% May 20th along with the surgical report and other hospital paperwork, was wondering how long it takes for the temp 100% to kick in? He has a claim waiting to go to the DRO will that slow his temp 100% down, his claim is at the Montgomery Regional office. The Nod was sent in 20 mths ago and still we have heard nothing? We are hoping to hear something soon too, 3 C&P's done in the last couple of months, they say they are waiting on his records from SSD , we have been going at this for over 2 years now, thanks for everyone's help on here!!!!!

We are in the middle of the same thing, moved from Michigan to Alabama about 5 mths ago, we do have a lawyer handling our case, Michigan is slow and awful, we have requested 3 times to move the case the lawyer has 2 times, finally got a copy of medical records, and filed some new cases at the Montgomery VA so they could request the c-file and all other records themselves from MI We have been working on this for 2 years plus, so far received 10% denied all else and missed much more we were suppose to file for according to the lawyer, She told us to do what ever we could to get my husbands file away from detroit, they are SSSSSSLLLLOOOOWWWWW and things will move faster for us even with the wait of transfer if we just get his stuff out of the hands of the Detroit office, thats our story , hope it helps you some

Does SSD send out checks anymore or do you have to have an account for the money to go into? What happens if you don't have a checking account or savings account??? Thanks

Medicare passed a new law a couple of years ago and if you get SSD you have to wait 26 or 27 mths from the date you get it to receive medicare coverage, and they made my husband's start on the 28th month

Well we have been fighting for several years and finally got a 10% rating, that was it we hired a lawyer and have been very happy with the results so far, will let you know how it turns out,

My husband has a claim that is being looked at for ptsd due to a mva while in the service, I hope all goes well with it,,
