Hello, I served in the USAF from 1976 to 1979 and served overseas for 2yrs. I filed my claim for disability on 4/06 and recently completed my C&P exam on 9/8/08. My examiner stated "In this examiner's opinion, the veteran is not competent to manage va benefits at this time. However, compentency to manage the benefits should be reviewed within one year depending on her mental stability in the future." She also stated "In all likelihood, the veteran's current mental disorder had it's onset in the military." She gave me a GAF score of 45. I don't feel I need a fiduciary. Any advice or information would be valued. Thank You Bonnie
